During its recent Act 2 livestream, Bungie reveals the next Destiny 2 collaboration, adding cosmetic content from Capcom’s Street Fighter 6 to the game. With Act 2 set to kick off in full on November 19, Bungie also gave players a glimpse at some of the new Destiny 2 content also arriving.
Collaborations have seemingly been a much bigger focus for Bungie over the past few years, working with other companies to bring themed content into Destiny 2. Players have seen all sorts of content come to Eververse inspired by games and franchises, like The Witcher 3, Fortnite, Ghostbusters, Assassin’s Creed, and more. In fact, Destiny 2 even added PlayStation franchise cosmetics from Ghost of Tsushima, God of War, and Horizon: Zero Dawn. However, this next announcement may have taken most fans by surprise.

During its Act 2 livestream, Bungie gave fans a glimpse at new cosmetic gear coming to the game, including a Street Fighter 6 partnership. Although the Street Fighter and Destiny 2 collaboration was leaked in October, fans finally got their first look at all the new stuff, including a helmet based on the character Blanka. Bungie confirmed the helmet will be a universal ornament for all three classes, which largely resembles a mask of the character one would see during the Festival of the Lost event.
Destiny 2 Adding Street Fighter 6 Cosmetics on November 19
In addition to the Blanka helmet, players can pick up a number of additional cosmetics to flex their Street Fighter fandom. Three Ghost shells will be available, stylized after Chun-Li, Ryu, and Cammy White. Three finishers are also being added based on Chun-Li’s spinning bird kick and lightning kicks, as well as Ryu’s iconic Hadoken fireball. Finally, the livestream also showed off a pair ot emotes, one group one that had both players mimicking a fight between Ryu and Blanka, complete with little lifebars above each. The final one references the iconic Bonus Stages from past Street Fighter games, only replacing a car with a vending machine.
In addition to Act 2 and Street Fighter content, November 19 also kicks off a special event. After resolving a weapon perk weighting issue, Bungie is making a number of god roll weapons available to all Destiny 2 players at Banshee-44 including Indebted Kindness, VS Chill Inhibitor, Rose, and more. The Vesper’s Host dungeons is also doubling its loot drops, giving players another great way to find specific rolls for weapons and armor.
