Angry Birds is 15! The iconic Angry Birds franchise from Rovio Entertainment celebrates its 15th birthday, and as expected, the anniversary celebrations are in full flow. As part of the mega milestone, a series of special in-game events, collaborations with innovative artists, the release of some exclusive comics, and more celebrations are in line, the details of which will be shared here.
Players can enjoy 15th anniversary-themed events across multiple games
Kicking off the festivities, you can join in a series of limited-time events across the franchise’s games namely Angry Birds Friends, Angry Birds 2, and Angry Birds Dream Blast. These events, which will be taking place from November 11th to December 16th, 2024, will be offering special rewards for its players alongside some nostalgic challenges. The list of events is below:

This anniversary year has also seen Angry Birds expanding into new media, thanks to Rovio’s strategy with SEGA to grow the brand across different platforms. A giant Times Square billboard has also been celebrating the milestone since January. With the special milestone, Angry Birds also shared some details on what they achieved this year.
In May, Rovio released Angry Birds Mystery Island: A Hatchlings Adventure, an animated series on Prime Video and Amazon Kids+, and announced the third movie in The Angry Birds Movie series. For the anniversary, Angry Birds has teamed up with artists to create digital art, music, and even food-inspired works, plus launched two comic books inspired by the original Angry Birds Classic Comics.
