All Answers For Speildance In The Rise Of The Golden Idol

Sometimes, it’s nice to take a break from the violence and solve something a bit more mysterious, a bit esoteric, even. Speildance is that scenario in The Rise of the Golden Idol. Instead of a dramatic fight or an outright murder, this scenario has you figuring out the hidden, cryptic meaning behind a certain person’s dance, which won him a talent competition.

All Event Solutions

Atharv's dance on television in The Rise of the Golden Idol.

All the words in this scenario are found within the book on the table, belonging to someone you may recognise from the past.

  • The first page deals mostly in nouns, though ‘Forbidden’ sticks out like a sore thumb.
  • The second page deals with verbs and gives rules on how the opposites of verbs are performed.
  • The third page deals in a very specific method of representing certain words, which you’ll need for the decryption of the dance.
  • The fourth page explains how leg movements and positions can alter things.

So, with this in mind, your task is to decipher Atharv’s dance using the rules and notes you’ve learned.

  • With the events panel open, we recommend Stopping the recording and using the progress bar to move through Atharv’s dance in small increments.
  • The Speildance takes things one word at a time. While the events page leads you to believe you must be on the lookout for a move that means ‘who’, this is not necessary.
  • Flip back and forth between the dance and the book constantly, deciphering each move/word at a time.
  • Always take note of when Atharv is standing on one leg, as this alters the meaning of the word being used.
  • Similarly, always take note of when his fingers are together and pointing at himself.
  • Be careful with the verbs – if you think something is one verb, you may actually be mistaking it for its opposite. Try using both if verbs are the final words you have left to fill in.
  • The sentences represented by the dance make perfect sense when read out, which will narrow down the pool of words you can use.
