Possibly the meatiest scenario in The Rise of the Golden Idol, Complex can take quite a while to complete without any help. Not only does it have the largest cast of characters by far, but there are quite a few mysteries to solve. Add to this some pretty big hints as to the overarching narrative that the game is weaving, and you have a pretty important scene to unravel.

- There’s one dead person, and a hated person. They’re probably the same person, yes?

- It can be handy to leave Stenson and Wright til last, as they live together but there’s little to actually tell you which of the two in that apartment is which.
- Some people may be talking to themselves, especially if they are currently alone.

- Something unites a few people in this complex, which is related to the odd things you can find out in Apartment B-1. Understanding what has happened to these people is key to working out the mystery.

- The mysterious machine hasn’t shown up in a while – perhaps it has something to do with the research study.
- The picnic is of importance. Pay close attention to those speaking about it or writing about it. Mentions of threats are of utmost importance here.
