It seems that we’re sticking with the OPIG group in this chapter of The Rise of the Golden Idol. Boardroom Brawl has us following some familiar faces as they deal with middle management and carry out a demonstration of the I.D.O.L.’s capabilities. Naturally, something unexpected happened, and it’s up to us to find out what.

All Name Solutions
We have ten people to identify in this scenario.
- The majority of the speakers here are returners from previous scenarios.
- There are two new women – one is related to a character we already know. Can you find references to family anywhere to point you in the right direction?
- Something has obviously happened that everyone now knows about. When you know what it is, the names of the women, specifically which woman is which, become obvious.
- The cameraman seems to be an intern. Is there a document that names an intern?
- Meetings often have lists of those attending, which would be handy for a certain someone in the boardroom.
All Event Solutions
There are two event panels in this scenario, but the second follows directly from the first.
- The first panel deals with the reason for the characters being here in the first place, and the events that preceded the dramatic moment that you’re witnessing.
- The second panel deals directly with the dramatic moment and the specific reasons for it happening.
- Many of the words deal with the technology used to broadcast what the scientists are doing to the broadcast. Understanding what was and wasn’t seen and heard is important here.
- What do the drawn pictures have to do with the experiment?
- We know the I.D.O.L. can give and take memories, but what’s the range and scope here? There are markings on the floor coming from the machine, what do they imply?
- Tim Spender’s itinerary is an important piece of the puzzle here which should help you figure out timings and locations.
- The lens inside the I.D.O.L. is the ≈ 1 day lens, not the ≈ 1 minute lens. What implications does this have?
