Bamboo is a perfect example of this while also being one of the resources that you’ll start needing quite early. As you progress further, the requirement for Bamboo in your village will only increase, and you’ll have to farm it regularly.

How To Find Bamboo

Bamboo is a type of tree in Sengoku Dynasty, and just like other trees, it can be found almost everywhere. Of course, its concentration is significantly higher in the regions where it’s labeled as a village resource source. You can easily identify bamboo trees with their thin green branch, and they usually exist in groups of at least three.

During the early game, one of the best locations to get bamboo is to the east of Sosogi village ruins where you find Chiyome. Take the main path from the village to Chiyome’s hut and you’ll soon enter a path with pink sakura trees. On this path, you’ll also find small bamboo trees on both the left and right sides.

You can easily get bamboo from these trees by using any type of axe to cut them.

As you venture deeper into the forests, especially near the Iwasaki village, you’ll find much bigger bamboo trees. When you cut these, they’ll drop as small logs on the ground, and you’ll get bamboo when you pick these up as well. Finally, you can also make your village in one of the regions with bamboo as the village resource.

Once you do that, create a Woodcutter’s Hut and you can send out a villager through the Carpentry Station to collect bamboo daily. However, you wouldn’t need a lot of bamboo during your gameplay, so it’s not recommended to create an entire village just for this resource.

What Is Bamboo Used For?

During the early game, you’ll mainly use bamboo while building structures like the furniture in Fisherman’s Hut. However, you’ll realize the actual requirement for it when you try to liberate various regions. Most of these regions require you to finish a special project, and bamboo is one of the main resources required for this.

Not only will you need it for creating the special project building, but you might also have to submit 50 or more of it inside the building before assigning workers to it.
