Scott Pilgrim’s 20th Anniversary Hardcover Box Sets released in August, but if you didn’t pick one of them up then, you should check out Amazon’s current deals on both sets. For this special anniversary release, Bryan Lee O’Malley’s beloved graphic novel series received an exclusive, full-color makeover. The full-color edition of Scott Pilgrim is discounted to $143.68 (was $250). For the purists, there’s also a remastered black-and-white collection, and that one is slightly cheaper at $136.53 (was $250).
Here’s what you get with the new hardcover box sets:
Scott Pilgrim 20th Anniversary Box Set
- All six redesigned volumes of Scott Pilgrim with new art by Bryan Lee O’Malley
- Clamshell collector’s box with new art by O’Malley
- Exclusive compilation of “Making of Scott Pilgrim” comics and other materials
- Sticker sheet
- A selection of mystery collectibles Scott Pilgrim fans will recognize
If you don’t want to drop this kind of cash on some graphic novels, there is a more affordable alternative. You can get all six graphic novels in a slipcased paperback box set for $56 (was $90) at Amazon. The Precious Little Slipcase Collection is Scott Pilgrim in its original black-and-white format without the remastered enhancements found in the new box set. But it wouldn’t be a bad idea to read the originals first, as you may appreciate the remastered black-and-white or full-color versions even more.

Oni Press, publisher of the box sets, also created the Scott Pilgrim Print Collection 2004-2024 to celebrate the 20th anniversary. This box set of 9″ x 12″ full-color art prints released in September, a few weeks after Scott Pilgrim’s 20th Anniversary Box Set, and is available for $28 (was $30). The collection includes 21 “frame-ready” illustrations printed on cardstock.
In case you missed the Edgar Wright film adaptation or the graphic novels, Scott Pilgrim tells the tale of Scott and his quest to win the girl of his dreams, Ramona Flowers. The only problem? Her seven Evil Exes, former partners of Ramona, who stand in his way. Along the way, both Scott and Ramona come to terms with their past as their relationship grows stronger and they become more mature.
