Reaching Prestige With Pacifism? One Black Ops 6 Player Makes It A Reality

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a FPS, so shooting people seems like an obvious part of the game. However, there’s one player out there who’s gotten creative enough with pacifism in multiplayer that they’ve actually reached prestige without killing an enemy.

On Reddit, Pilgore1 posted an image showcasing that they hit Prestige 1 in Black Ops 6 with zero eliminations after over 19 hours of playtime. Not only that, but Pilgore1 also has a career winning record of 73-38. So it’s not like they are some weak link on teams in Black Ops 6 multiplayer, either.

Pilgore1 revealed how they help their teammates in Black Ops 6 in the comments section on the Reddit post. “Hiding while tagging people with Spycam and calling in the 3 UAV streaks,” Pilgore1 wrote. “You’d be surprised how much having one person on the team not dying helps you win TDM.”

Apparently, this pacifist strategy started with 2020’s Black Ops Cold War as a joke, according to Pilgore1. But they “enjoyed playing this way so just kept going.” That’s led to the player hitting some big milestones in the franchise’s multiplayer mode over the past few years without killing an enemy: prestige 15 in Black Ops Cold War, prestige 10 in Vanguard, and prestige 15 in Modern Warfare 2 as well as Modern Warfare 3.

Earlier this week, Black Ops 6 received a free bundle for Veterans Day that will be available through December 31. Later this week, Season 1 will go live for Black Ops 6 and Warzone, with a recent trailer highlighting the new skins and maps on the way for the game.

Black Ops 6 continues to be the most-played game on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. For more, check out GameSpot’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 multiplayer review.
