Kai Cenat Has Broken Twitch’s Most-Subscribed Streamer Record Again

Kai Cenat Has Broken Twitch's Most-Subscribed Streamer Record Again

Key Takeaways

  • Kai Cenat has reclaimed Twitch’s record for the most-subscribed streamer, which was previously held by Ironmouse.
  • Kai Cenat reached his goal of 326,252 subscribers a little under two weeks into Mafiathon 2.
  • With a little under three weeks left, it’s possible that he could set a record that may be impossible to catch.

Earlier this year, Twitch saw its most-subscribed streamer record absolutely smashed following a subathon from VTuber Ironmouse, who managed to rack up a whopping 326,252 subscribers before all was said and done. That total had absolutely obliterated the previous record held by Kai Cenat, who racked up 306,521 subscribers following a month-long subathon in February 2023.

While KaiCenat was more than likely a little disappointed at losing the record, we all knew that he’d make a charge for it again, and he did just that with Mafiathon 2, which has been going on since the beginning of this month. It’s been a very impressive run from Kai Cenat, who managed to reach the 310,000 subscriber mark just 11 days into his 30 day subathon. It was only a matter of time until he broke the record again.

Yes, that day has finally arrived, as after one big push from his fanbase, Kai Cenat has retaken his crown as Twitch’s most-subscribed streamer from Ironmouse. Even though he’s only 11 days into his subathon, he’s done some absolutely wild things to drag people in, such as race go karts around the Mafiathon 2 mansion, remade the intro to iCarly with Miranda Cosgrove following all the memes that went around on social media, and linked up with pretty much every famous rapper you can think of.

It’s definitely been a wild couple of weeks for Kai Cenat, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to slow down any time soon either. With a little under three weeks of his subathon remaining, Kai Cenat will most likely want to try and boost his record as high as possible to ensure that it isn’t broken again, and given that he’s managed to gather around 20,000 subscribers in a single day, there really is no telling how high it will go.

Ideally, we all want it to go as high as possible really, even if you’re a staunch Ironmouse supporter. Kai Cenat has already pledged that 20 percent of the revenue he makes will go towards improving schools in Nigeria, so the higher the number of subscribers, the more cash goes to those who need it. That is cause to celebrate at the very least, and a reason to congratulate Kai Cenat on his new record.
