Deadpool & Wolverine’s Guest Characters Now Have Their Own Funko Pops

Deadpool & Wolverine dominated movie headlines over the summer as it put up big box office numbers and did things in an MCU movie that we never thought we’d see. It also reintroduced us to heroes we thought we’d never see again – and in one instance a hero we never thought we’d see at all – and those guest appearances proved popular enough that the heroic quartet have all been turned into Funko Pops.

As Deadpool & Wolverine navigate The Void, they find themselves in what appears to be a home base of some sort, taking a minute to gather themselves and figure out what to do next. It’s at that moment that the heroes who call that base home walk through the door, and those of us who started watching Marvel movies long before the letters MCU were a part of the superhero lexicon were rewarded for never losing faith.

Jennifer Garner’s Elektra and Wesley Snipes’ Blade were the first two heroes to walk through the door. They’re then followed by Channing Tatum’s Gambit who, unlike the other two, never appeared in a Marvel movie as his Gambit project was canceled before it ever got started. The last to join them was a grown-up X-23, the character who joined Wolverine in Logan and effectively took the mantle from him.

Their appearances were a hit with fans not only because it was great seeing all of them back on the big screen, but also because they were more than just throw-away characters. They stuck around for the rest of the movie and their contributions were significant enough that they now have their own Funko Pops, three of which can be seen above. Elektra’s figure will be exclusive to a specific storefront and her design will be revealed either today or tomorrow.

Gambit’s Pop is my personal favorite as the X-Man has his super-powered cards flicking between his hands. X-23’s Pop is brandishing its adamantium claws, slightly different from Wolverine’s as she only has two on each hand. Finally, Blade has his sunglasses on and a pistol in his left hand, meaning all three Pops are armed and ready to assist Deadpool and Wolverine.

Deadpool & Wolverine will be streaming on Disney Plus by the time you read this which means if you haven’t seen it already, you can check it out right now. If nothing else, you should watch the opening ten minutes. Deadpool movies don’t miss when it comes to their opening credits, and the third movie’s opening is the best yet.
