The Executioner and Her Way of Life follow Menou, an executioner tasked with eliminating lost ones. However, Menou’s latest mission seems complicated. Her target, Akari, is a seemingly innocent Japanese high school girl with the dangerous ability to manipulate time. Menou finds it hard to kill Akari, because Akari’s ability to manipulate time makes her capable of reversing her death. Menou has to find a way to kill Akari for the safety of her world, and she gets close to her with the hopes of finding a way to kill her. The tension arises from the fact Akira is unaware of Menou’s true intentions. She sees Menou as a protector and friend in this strange new world, and is glad because in her previous world, Japan, she was lonely and did not have anyone.
