Metaphor: ReFantazio has a lot of Archetypes that specialize in learning spells, but you can also choose to equip Igniters to learn additional spells. Igniters are used by the rest of the population in Euchronia to use magic, but even though your party can do so with their Archetypes, that still doesn’t make Igniters useless.
Igniters can be both supportive or offensive, and give you access to spells by equipping them as your accessory on a character. What is probably the strongest Igniter in the game is the Seraphic Igniter, which gives the equipped character access to the skill Mage Omniscience, here’s where to get it.

How to Complete Every Bounty in Metaphor ReFantazio
Bounties are difficult monster hunts in Metaphor: ReFantazio that reward players greatly; here’s how to complete every one.
The first step in getting the Seraphic Igniter is to unlock Brigitta as a follower in Grand Trad and begin ranking up her bond. Get her to rank 7 to get the perk Igniter Connoisseur, which gives you access to rare Igniters in her magic shop. With this perk, head to her Igniter shop where you can purchase the Seraphic Igniter for 792,000 Reeve. This Igniter can then be equipped on any party member to give them access to the skill Mage Omniscience.
- Heavy Almighty damage to all enemies.
- 60 MP

Metaphor: ReFantazio – 8 Best Archetype Compositions, Ranked
Metaphor: ReFantazio players looking to dominate in combat should consider using these Archetype compositions.
Early in the game, this Igniter may seem worthwhile on paper despite the incredible cost. That being said, it may not be the best option for your party, as Mage Omniscience is the same spell as Megidola, which only costs 20 MP. Megidola can be learned by the Warlord Archetype, which is the final Archetype in the commander Lineage. It is also a Synthesis skill for Archetypes in the Commander lineage with a Gunner or Summoner lineage Archetype.
Almighty damage is a good option to have, as it will always go through and ignore any resistances an enemy has, though it does miss out on potentially landing weaknesses or critical hits. Mage Omniscience also costs 60 MP, which is very high even later in the game for a single attack. While Almighty damage is a good backup tool against very specific enemies, it’s not worth the cost of this Igniter. If you’re looking for other sources of Almighty damage, the following Archetypes learn skills that deal Almighty damage:
- Merchant – Gold Attack
- Tycoon – Gold Rush
- Warlord – Megidola
- Prince – Royal Slash
