Stardew Valley is a popular life-simulation RPG from developer Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone. The game combines a lot of mechanics from other games, such as Harvest Moon. A fun mod for those who enjoy the farming aspect of Stardew Valley, Ellie’s Ideal Greenhouse further expands that element of the game. Developed by ellibehr, this mod allows you to upgrade your greenhouse to either modest, expanded, or spacious variations.

Each greenhouse will have its own features. For example, the modest greenhouse is the smallest of the three and allows you to plant up to 192 plants, eight trees, and four Iridium Sprinklers. The expanded option can feature eight Iridium Sprinklers, 400 plants, and eight trees. The spacious greenhouse allows you to install eight Iridium Sprinklers, more than 400 plants, and 48 trees.

Skull Cavern Elevator

It’s bad enough that an endless supply of flying serpents are trying to kill you, but having to undo your progress every time you leave is punishing rather than fun.

The Skull Cavern Elevator mod is exactly what it says on the tin: every five levels, your progress will be marked by a newly installed elevator in the cavern. It’s similar to how your exploration progress is saved in the mines. You can revisit levels you’ve been to before if you need to take a break from exploring the caverns.

After buying some seeds from Krobus, you’ll be able to set up areas on your farm that grow resources such as Iron, Iridium, or Coal. If you are looking to start a big project on your farm, this is a good way to supplement the amount of resources that you need to gather.

Oh look, another pet mod! This one is a bit different though, as it adds companions to the game that will follow you around. With the framework provided by this mod, you can make your own custom companion to keep you company as you explore the valley.

Feel like having a cow follow you to the beach? Go for it! This little cow will follow behind you as you travel. Since this is just the framework mod, you can also create entities around the map that will spawn and not follow you around.

Farming Made Easy

Last but not least, we have Farming Made Easy. This mod gives you the freedom to tweak how farming works in the game and make things go a bit smoother. For example, you can make the growing time for crops shorter, allowing you to harvest more often.

Additionally, this mod allows you to build more greenhouses. If more greenhouses doesn’t sound exciting, then you can opt to make all plants grow in every season. Think of Farming Made Easy as something similar to creative mode.
