Custom Skin Mods

It took no time at all for the community to add all kinds of skins to the game, with classics like Shrek and CJ always rearing their memefied heads. The skins that we are focusing on here, however, are the ones made for fans by fans, with outfits taken from certain scenarios in the Dragon Ball multiverse.
Remember that you can’t use these types of mods in online play.
A fan-favorite is Teen Gohan with Goku’s gi, which is what he wore during the events of the Bojack Unbound movie. Another skin that is picking up traction is Kefla in Saiyan armor, something not seen in the show, although we can’t help but praise the design of the outfit.

Custom Maps
Fans Making Missing Areas A Reality
The most impressive aspect of Sparking Zero is its roster, but its map variety could use some work. They are all excellent, but there are a few areas of Dragon Ball Super that it would have been nice to see, like the tournament stage during the Tournament of Destroyers.
Mods now let us visit these places, with a rendition of the Tournament of Destroyers being equipped with pictures of the godly brothers, as well as the order in which fights took place on the show. There is also a map for the exhibition match where we saw Buu shine right before the Tournament of Power, which is also where we first saw characters like Topo and Bergamo.

There is a certain level of charm to how menus are designed in Sparking Zero. Whenever you visit the shop or any other similar option, the character in charge of it will be constantly doing commentary about either what you’re browsing, or generic lines regarding who they are.

Character Selection Screen Revamped

Even with the graphics maxed out, the character selection images for the different characters in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero are fairly low quality. This is a shame since you’d think the developers would have had something of higher resolution to place on each of our favorite character’s portraits.
Turns out, there are actually better pictures for each of the characters, but they aren’t used for some reason. The mod Character Selection Screen Revamped simply grabs those pictures already present in the game and puts them where they belong, so you can get a better look at all those Gokus before you make your pick.

Ultra Instinct Goku has a rather interesting effect to represent his godlike power: his aura when charging up is always present, even if subtly, making him have a defining presence on the battlefield. Jiren in his Full Power transformation is the only other character with this effect, even if it would look great in several others.
The Pinnacle of Power mod adds this feature to a lot of characters, from Full Power Frieza to Perfect Cell. Now you’ll be able to experience iconic fights at the right level of awe that they deserve, covering nearly every saga from the series we know and love.

Take The Fight Wherever You Want
Let’s Fight Somewhere Else is a mod that lets you set any fight to any existing map, giving you the option to fight in areas that are only used for cutscenes, or even in the start menu screen. You can swap where fights happen even during story mode, meaning that you can have Goku and Jiren fighting it out at Kame House.
The main point of this mod, as you can expect, is for people playing on split screen to be able to choose maps beyond the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. The developers didn’t let players choose other maps due to the strain it could cause on the user’s computer, but if you think your machine can handle it, download this mod and enjoy all the maps while playing locally.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is a beautiful game, but a taxing one on some computers. All the particle effects and flashy power clashes can make it complicated to run the game properly, which can be problematic for players who want to get into the PvP scene with their old hardware.
If you are having these issues, then the mod Low-End PC Optimization is for you, making the game run almost as if it was made for the PlayStation 4. This is one of the few mods you can take into online fighting since it doesn’t give you any advantages, but use it at your discretion.
