The Best Bucket List Goals In The Sims 4, Ranked

There’s a lot of content to enjoy in The Sims 4: Life & Death expansion pack, like becoming a reaper or lingering around to harass the living after your Sim has died. One of the easier things you can do to satisfy your Sims during their life is to start them on a bucket list.

Live your best life, and afterlife in The Sims 4: Life & Death.

Starting a bucket list is pretty easy. All you have to do is sit your Sim down at a computer or a notebook and follow the pie chart of interactions. When you start, you’ll realize you cannot specifically select your Sims bucket list, you can only select the category which will then generate your Sims goals. Some goals, however, are more fun than others.

10

Tell Your Child You’re Proud Of Them

  • Category: “I Want A Great Family!”
  • Difficulty: Easy

Starting off strong is telling your child that you are proud of them. If you desire to strengthen the family bond in your Sims family, this is the perfect opportunity. It’s a sweet and adorable interaction between a Sim and their child that reassures the little one that they are still loved and adored.

Even if you play The Sims 4 to cause chaos, take a quick break to shed a little affection for your Sims. There’s nothing wrong with forcing your Sims to be wholesome every once in a while.

9

Earn A University Degree

  • Category: “I Want Success”
  • Difficulty: Medium

It’s time to finally put the Discover University expansion pack to good use. Get your Sim that degree they never knew they wanted until now. You are able to choose between two colleges, Foxbury Institute or University of Britechester, and a handful of degrees.

The process can be long; it takes four in-game weeks and is a little frustrating with all the homework. The degree will eventually become worth it in the long run if your Sim pursues a career in that degree, and your Sim will have done something truly noteworthy.

Climb Mt. Komorebi

  • Category “I Want Adventure!”
  • Difficulty: Hard

So your Sim wants to get fit and do something a little extreme. Climbing Mt. Komorebi isn’t something your Sim can do without a little training and some good equipment. So this bucket list goal is definitely longer and more dangerous than others, as your Sim could die trying.

Firstly, it is recommended that your Sim has at least reached level six in rock climbing. Beyond that, you will need to have good climbing gear, be aware of the weather, and stock up on snacks. But with a little training, your Sim will be ready to attempt the climb.

7

Woohoo In A Dumpster

  • Category: “I Wanna Get Busy!”
  • Difficulty: Easy

Honestly, to each their own with this bucket list wish. If your Sim wants to get busy in a dumpster, who are you to stop them? If your Sim wants one last wild romp before The Grim Reaper comes for them, perhaps it’s better just to let them.

Max The Gardening Skill And Revel In Your Garden

  • Category: “I Want To Create!”
  • Difficulty: Hard

Gardening in the Sims 4 is pretty easy unless you have the Seasons expansion pack. With it, factors such as the changing seasons and the weather will affect your Sim while gardening. But if you want your Sims to be creative while earning a good amount of money, then gardening is worth your time.

To max your Sims gardening skill you can tend to a garden, interact with the plants, and read books about gardening. It may take a little while, but you’ll be able to supersell your Sim’s plants. Eventually your Sim will have a big beautiful garden to enjoy.

  • Category: “I Want To Travel!
  • Difficulty: Easy

Spending a full day in Willow Creek is pretty easy as it’s a base game world. All you have to do is take your Sim to either one place or to multiple places in Willow Creek and let them hang out.

Even though it may waste a day of your Sim’s life, it’s good to get them out of their home lot every once in a while rather than just letting them go to work and school. Get them out and let them meet a few new townies and make a few friends.

4

Craft 30 Total Craftable Items

  • Category: “I Want… Something Else?”
  • Difficulty: Medium

It’s time to get your Sim a good hobby! Whether it’s furniture, jewelry, or candles, your Sim wants to get crafty. This is a great opportunity to profit off your Sim’s hobbies as well, as their craftable items are usually marketable.

Regardless, it is fun to see what your Sim can produce. This one is simple; you just need to craft items. It may take a while to reach the goal of 30 craftables, but it’ll satisfy another bucket list whim and earn you some Simoleons.

3

Make Charitable Donations

Befriend A Non-Human Sim

  • Category: “I Want Adventure”
  • Difficulty: Medium

Depending on the packs you have, this could be hard or easy, though each occult comes with its own challenges. Vampires can be more than unfriendly, werewolves can deeply unsettle your Sim, mermaids can be hard to find, and aliens can reset your relationship bar if they feel like it.

Still it’s exciting when your Sim wants to branch out and meet some of the more eccentric townies. Who knows, maybe your Sim will enjoy being around occults enough that eventually, they will start a new adventure and join the occult lifestyle.

1

Throw A Gold Star House Party

  • Category: “I Want To Party!”
  • Difficulty: Medium

Your Sim wants to be a party animal and get some friends together with this bucket list task. It can actualy be a little tough though, depending on what the state of your household is, as there are a few tasks that will be easier to complete if you are in control of multiple Sims.

Be sure to have a good meal on standby and some fun music! Your Sim’s friends will want to eat, dance, and interact with each other. Like any party though, the cleanup may be a little annoying, especially when trying to find plates in random spots.
