How To Solve The Necropolis Bell Puzzle In Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Players need to activate five Bells in a specific order to solve the Necropolis Bell puzzle in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Figuring out the order can be quite easy as it is carved into the door northwest of the southeastern Teleportation Beacon in The Memorial Gardens. However, players need to complete the Walking the Graves Companion Quest with Emmrich Volkarin to gain access to The Memorial Gardens.
Bell Location #1
To locate the first Bell in Necropolis, players should do the following:
- Fast travel to the southeastern Teleportation Beacon in The Memorial Gardens.
- Move northwest toward the sealed door.
- Use Emmrich’s skill to activate the bell beside it.
Bell Location #2
From the previous location in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, go toward the northwestern stairs, then activate the second Bell by using Emmrich’s skill or Solas’ Lyrium Dagger. If players don’t have Emmrich in their team, they can use the Beacon to switch out Companions.
Bell Location #3
Next, players should do the following to locate the third Bell in The Memorial Gardens:
- Go back down the stairs
- Move northeast.
- Turn right.
Once players turn, they will see the Bell nestled between a bush and a few gravestones. Approach and interact with it to ring it up using Solas’ Lyrium Dagger, or Emmrich’s Placate Mischief in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
Bell Location #4
Walk down the southeastern path to find the fourth Bell at the end of the road. Check the symbol etched on the lower stone, then ring it.
Bell Location #5
From the previous location in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, turn right, then:
- Walk toward the stairs.
- Climb them.
- Turn left.
- Activate the fifth and final Bell in the Necropolis Halls.
Once all the Bells are rung in the correct order, Rook will point out that a door has been opened. To locate it:
- Fast travel to the southeastern Teleportation Beacon in The Memorial Gardens.
- Head northwest.
- Move past the unsealed gate door.
- Collect the chest and collectibles inside.
