How To Unlock All Outfits In Slitterhead

How To Unlock All Outfits In Slitterhead

Between obtaining all the Rarities, carving your way through the main story, and tackling all the side content, there’s a decent amount of things to do in Slitterhead, with obtaining Outfits being a rewarding addition to that mix. While there are only two ways you can earn Outfits in your journey, some of them can be challenging to find and obtain.

Slitterhead: All Rarity Locations

Slitterhead has eight unique Rarities to find, here’s how to unlock them all.

Nonetheless, once you know where to go and what to do, you will gather every Outfit available in no time. Assuming you have the needed missions unlocked and ready to go. If not, it may take a bit of time before you get to them, but playing through the main story as you usually would will get you there eventually!

All Lurking Parasite RE (2nd Loop) Outfits

Our first Outfit in Slitterhead is obtained by tackling the Lurking Parasite RE (2nd Loop) mission and playing it all the way through until you reach the Orchid Mantis Slitterhead boss. Once you’re fighting this Slitterhead, you will want to focus on hitting the body dangling off its back.

Essentially, the goal is to destroy the body, breaking it off the Slitterhead. This will take many hits, so you will constantly be switching to nearby civilians and Rarities to get the job done. ALWAYS hit its backside. Skills will speed up the process, but ensure you’re hitting the body and nothing else.

Breaking the body off the Orchid Mantis Slitterhead will unlock the Long Sleeve Shirt for Julee, adding the first new threads to your Wardrobe tab in the main menu!

All Sleepless Zone RE (2nd Loop) Outfits

Sleepless Zone RE (2nd Loop) is our next mission to focus on and will play out relatively the same as the one above. Play through the mission until you reach the stage’s final boss, the Giant Leaf Insect Slitterhead, then focus on its backside, hitting the dangling body until it pops off the Slitterhead.

Again, ALWAYS focus on the dangling body. If you stagger the Slitterhead, you will get many uncontested hits on the body, making the process much easier. Don’t forget to keep jumping to civilians or Rarities that are behind the Slitterhead to take advantage of its back being turned toward them and keep hacking away until it’s off.

Destroying the body on the Giant Lead Insect Slitterhead will grant you the White Cheongsam for Anita, making it well worth the effort!

All Missing Girl RE (2nd Loop) Outfits

Next up is our first Shrine Outfit, which can be obtained via the Missing Girl RE (2nd Loop) mission. Once you load into the mission and make your way onto the main street, run down the steps and into the markets. From here, head down the street toward the overpass steps and take a right to see a glowing Shrine on the street corner.

Interact with the Shrine to summon the Shrine Guardian “Tiger” Slitterhead. This Slitterhead will run away from you, forcing you to chase it down. Use Blood Ripper to slow its movement, and bombard it with normal attacks until you can knock it down. From here, use Sonic Claws to deal substantial damage. Rinse and repeat until it is dead.

Defeating the Shrine Guardian “Tiger” Slitterhead will unlock the T-shirt for Julee, adding another article of clothing to her collection!

All Hidden Cave RE (2nd Loop) Outfits

Hidden Cave RE (2nd Loop) is the next Shrine Outfit in line and is conveniently located at the start of the mission. As soon as you load in, look to the right to see the Shrine glowing in the corner of the courtyard. Interact with the Shrine to summon the Shrine Guardian “Dragon” Slitterhead.

Taking down the Shrine Guardian “Dragon” Slitterhead will give Edo a comfy Under Shirt to wear, netting him his first item for his Wardrobe!

All Mantis Trap Outfits

Mantis Trap is another straightforward one, as it is an epic boss encounter mission against Michelle. Simply clear this mission to unlock the Waist Tie Uniform for Doni. You don’t have to destroy the body or anything to obtain this item. Just completing it is enough!

All Oppressive Force RE (2nd Loop) Outfits

It’s time for another Shrine Outfit, which can be earned in the Oppressive Force RE (2nd Loop) mission. After loading into the mission and locating Yin Yue, run across the top of the overpass and use your Blood Jump to leap across the series of clotheslines until you reach a dead end.

You should see a person you can possess on the rooftop across from you. Jump to this civilian, then use possession once more to reach the rooftop directly across from them. At the edge of this rooftop will be the Shrine. Interact with it to have the Shrine Guardian “Rabbit” Slitterhead come crashing into the arena.

Eliminating the Shrine Guardian “Rabbit” Slitterhead will unlock the Shirt for Blake, making it the first piece of clothing you’ve obtained for him thus far!

All Insidious Sucker RE (2nd Loop) Outfits

Ready for another simple one? As soon as you load into the Insidious Sucker RE (2nd Loop) mission, turn left and walk down the narrow alleyway to find the Shrine against the side of a closed gate. Interact with the Shrine to call in the Shrine Guardian “Money,” which are waves of lesser Slitterheads.

Fighting your way through the waves upon waves of lesser Slitterheads will unlock the Under Shirt for Alex, which is surprisingly one of his best fits in the game!

All Over Limit Outfits

Over Limits is another simple-ish one, having you play through the mission as you normally would until you fight the Lisa – Mimic Octopus Slitterhead. Once you’re fighting this Slitterhead, focus on the body dangling from its back and keep relentlessly attacking it until it breaks off.

Sending the body hurtling off the back of the Lisa – Mimic Octopus Slitterhead will unlock the Lab Coat for Alex, spicing up his Wardrobe even more!

All Jar Of Poison RE (2nd Loop) Outfits

Jar of Poison RE (2nd Loop) has two Outfits you can obtain, so let’s focus on the Shrine Outfit first. Play through the mission up to the point you arrive back at the kitchen after exploring the forbidden area. Upon exiting the kitchen, take a right, then another one, and head up the stairs to the third floor.

Once arriving on the third floor, you will see the Shrine leaning against the wall directly in front of you. Interact with it to summon a small group of lesser Slitterheads and one normal one. Eliminate the lesser ones first, then begin to attack the normal one to have it turn into the Shrine Guardian “Snake” Slitterhead.

Dispatching the Shrine Guardian “Snake” Slitterhead will allow Edo to wear No Shirt, getting him closer and closer to his old boxing self. We guess.

Warty Frogfish Slitterhead: Destroy The Body

The second Outfit can be had by destroying the body on the Warty Frogfish Slitterhead. So, like all the others, play through the mission like normal until you reach the final boss encounter, then focus on the body dangling from the back, hitting it with all you have until it gets lopped off.

Severing the body from the Warty Frogfish Slitterhead will hook Doni up with a Jacket Top Uniform, making him look extra spiffy than ever!

All Drifting Devil Outfits

Following that, we have another simple one, which comes by way of the Drifting Devil mission. Simply finish the mission, defeating Yin Yue, to receive the Dark Theme costume for Tri. You don’t have to do anything special here. Just clear the mission to obtain this Outfit!

All The Duel Outfits

Speaking of simple Outfits, The Duel is another such example, having you defeat Julee to clear the mission and net the Apron for Julee. You don’t have to target anything specific. Just complete the mission to get this Outfit. While you can’t use this Outfit immediately, you can use it very soon in the story!

All Black Payback REV (Mirror) Outfits

Black Payback REV (Mirror) is a later mission in the game, but it is, thankfully, another simple one in regard to obtaining the Outfit. Proceed through the mission as normal until you encounter the Greater Blue-Ringed Octopus Slitterhead, then focus on the dangling body. You know what to do at this point.

Lobbing off the dangling body from the Greater Blue-Ringed Octopus Slitter head will allow you to put Blake in a pair of Suspenders, making him look even more like the role.

All Bind Break Outfits

Bind Break is another Shrine Outfit mission, but it can be a bit tricky to activate. Make your way through the mission until you receive the task to ‘Pursue Slitterhead with the release key.’ Once you see that pop-up on your screen, head toward the main street.

Use Blood Jump to reach the tall neon sign with a crown on the top of it. You should be able to see it far in the distance, on the opposite end of the street. Once on top of this sign, hop onto the roof beside it, then run up the scaffolding onto another rooftop. On this rooftop will be the Shrine. Interact with it to summon the Shrine Guardian “Pig” Slitterhead.

Besting the Shrine Guardian “Pig” Slitterhead will allow Julee to wear her Tank Top, making her Wardrobe absolutely stacked at the moment. Seriously, save some clothes for the other Rarities!

All Ghost Family RE RE (3rd Loop) Outfits

Lastly, we have another Shrine Outfit, which can be obtained during the Ghost Family RE RE (3rd Loop) mission. When the mission starts, walk toward the courtyard and look across the way to see an enclosed room with an open window. Use possession to move through the window and jump to a civilian inside.

Activate possession again and move back out the window and up another floor, possessing another civilian inside. Do the same thing to move up to the third floor, then make your way down the hallway. You will see an opened door to the right. Enter into the next room and follow the pathway to locate the Shrine.

Interact with the Shrine to receive a message about feeling something beneath you. Walk back out into the hallway and use possession to go back out of the open window. Possess a civilian in the courtyard to encounter the Shrine Guardian “Sheep” Slitterhead.

Demolish the Shrine Guardian “Sheep” Slitterhead to receive the Biker Jacket for Alex, making him feel right at home. We’re sure.
