The island you’re on in Webfishing isn’t exactly large. It’s generally filled with wetlands like lakes and rivers. This peaceful, charming area, surrounded by the ocean and filled with freshwater, allows you to catch various fish. But why limit yourself to just what’s given?

The places you can go in the game aren’t limited to this—you can also reach cool areas using glitches. One of these is the Void. Not only is reaching the Void a stylish move, but with the game’s 1.09 update, a special fish was added here. Reaching this area is essential to complete your journal.
How To Enter The Void
Void is one of the areas you can reach through glitches. Under normal circumstances, you cannot enter it by just wandering around. To enter the Void, the first thing you need to do is teleport to the central hub. In the central hub, there are two cabins. One of these is a building with NPCs where you can make purchases, and the other is a building with an aquarium inside.
To reach the Void, you need to enter one of these two buildings. After entering one of these buildings, your goal is to reach the black area outside the walls, known as ‘out of bounds.’ There are two methods to do this:
- For the first method, you’ll need someone else to punch you out of bounds using the boxing glove.
- For the second method, you don’t need anyone. In this method, you can use private island flags to get outside the walls.
You can buy the boxing glove from the opossum’s shop inside the cabin to the right of the Pawprint Point sign in the hub. It costs 100 dollars.
How To Enter The Void Using The Flag
If you don’t have a friend who can punch you out with a boxing glove, you can do it alone. The only thing you’ll need is the red flags used to reach private islands.
To obtain the flags that allow you to go to the private island, you need to level up your camp tier. To increase your camp tier, speak to the frog NPC in the cabin to the right of the Pawprint sign.
If you’re now able to go to a private island and use flags, nothing can stop you from entering the Void. First, go into the cabin in the hub where the opossum and frog NPCs are located. Then, adjust the camera angle to look down on your character. With your back to the entrance door, move to the right towards the opossum.
In the corner of the wall, you’ll see three boxes. Move towards the small box closest to the opossum and approach the wall. Even though you’re close to the wall, don’t stick directly to it. Once your character is positioned properly, click the button with the tent icon in the top-right corner, or alternatively, press the ‘V’ key. This will open the Prop menu.
From here, select any island entrance, allowing your character to place a flag. Your goal when placing the flag is to set it outside the wall. However, you must position it carefully; don’t place it too far outside, but make sure to place it in the black area. If you place it inside the building, it won’t work.
If you’ve placed the flag correctly, when you approach it, a ‘Travel’ speech bubble will appear above it. When you travel, you’ll teleport to the private island. There’s nothing you need to do on the private island itself. Just approach the red flag on the island and interact with it. This way, you’ll teleport to the Void.
Once in the Void, if you move towards the black void instead of the building, you’ll trigger a transition animation, officially entering the Void.
What Is The Benefit Of Reaching The Void?
Although reaching the Void may look cool, there is an additional benefit to getting there. There’s a specific type of fish that can only be caught in the Void. If you see the message ‘You feel a light breeze…’ in your chat box, it means you’re in the right spot in the Void and have a chance to catch this fish.
If this message doesn’t appear, you need to explore the Void a bit more. If it still doesn’t appear or you get thrown out of the Void, try again until you’re in the correct spot. Remember, once you see that message, you can catch this special fish. The fish is called the ‘CREATURE’ and has a very glitchy and constantly changing appearance.
The other fish you encounter in the Void belong to the saltwater category. However, the fish named CREATURE belongs to the misc category.
