Pokemon TCG Pocket gives you three excellent choices to work with, and Genetic Apex Charizard might just have the best cards of the three sets. With excellent staples that can fit in any deck and Powerful Pokemon that can use their Abilities to tilt the scales of battle, this might just be the pack you want to start opening first.

Pokemon Pocket: Every Supporter Ranked
The perfect supporter cards can really change the way your deck plays. We take a look at every supporter card in the game and rank them.
Of course, with so many cards to choose from, you have to ask which ones you want to be chasing after. Pack Points don’t grow on trees. While some might require you to open quite a few packs, others are fortunately easier to find but can make all the difference when deck building. So here’s the cream of the crop.
10
Erika
More Healing For Grass Decks
Erika is an excellent Supporter if you want to do some major healing to your Grass-type Pokemon. If healing 20 damage can make such a big difference in Pokemon TCG Pocket, then being able to heal 50 is even better.
This Supporter is exclusive to Grass decks and can be used in combination with Potion cards and Grass’s methods of self-healing to turn your deck into a long-lasting competitive threat. It is also one of the better type-exclusive Supporters to choose from.
9
Victreebel
A Flytrap For Weak Pokemon
Victreebel is an inverted twist on cards such as Sabrina and Pidgeot. This Stage Two Pokemon needs to be in the Active Spot before it can use Fragrance Trap to force your opponent to switch out their Pokemon.
While its attack is weak at 60 damage per hit, being able to choose which Pokemon gets dragged out for Victreebel to start hitting can net you a few free points. It can also pick off any weak Pokemon that happens to be sitting on the Bench in one hit.
8
Moltres ex
Spreading More Flames
If you’re looking to complete your set of legendary birds, then Genetic Apex Charizard is the only place where you will find Moltres ex. This is an essential part of any Fire deck dubecauset can speed up your Energy generation each turn.
For this to work you will need to invest at least one Fire Energy to Moltres ex. In return, you have a chance to generate up to three Energy that you can freely distribute among your Fire-type Pokemon.
7
Kabutops
A Fossil Fighter
Kabutops has so many reasons as to why it is a great card. Its first stage is an Item card, so it won’t interfere with you getting the Basic Pokemon you want in your opening hand. Once you get Kabutops in play though, it can slash away at your opponent while healing itself.
The best part about this card is that it doesn’t heal any set amount of HP. It heals however much damage it does with Leech Life. So anything that alters that number also modifies the amount of HP that you get back.
6
Meowth
A Lucky Cat
Meowth is an excellent way to draw more cards each turn. Pay Day will get you that extra draw for one Energy while also doing ten damage each time. The only downside of Meowth is that it creates an easy target for your opponent to hit for a point.
However, if Meowth can use Pay Day at least twice, then that’s two cards deeper that you get to go into, which could make all the difference in a deck that requires you to draw into multiple Pokemon stages.
A Bulletproof Pokemon
Melmetal is a card with plenty of potential. This is one of the best Steel-type Pokemon, and it is exclusive to Genetic Apex Charizard. While it may not be able to heal itself from damage, it has natural defenses in the form of Hard Coat.

This reduces all damage taken by 20, which can make many attacks from Basic Pokemon do nothing. One swipe from Heavy Impact can put many Pokemon down in one hit, with a second hit taking down even the strongest Pokemon.
4
Greninja
The Best Bench Sniper
Greninja is one of the best Pokemon to have on your Bench. This is because it can snipe your opponent’s Pokemon on their Bench from your Bench. Once per turn, you can deal 20 damage to any of your opponent’s Pokemon.
This can be helpful if you need a damage boost to turn your Active Pokemon’s next attack into a lethal one. It can also weaken any Pokemon before it becomes a threat to your opponent’s Active Spot. If it needs to fight one on one, Mist Slash can do 60 damage for two Energy and 80 if you also use Water Shuriken.
3
Charizard ex
The Most Powerful Attacker
Despite Charizard being the face of its oooster pack, it does not make it to the very top of the rankings. However, it is still one of the most powerful cards in the game because it can do 200 damage with Crimson Storm.
If you want to save the Move for a Pokemon with too much HP, Slash will also do the trick by taking down the small fry. This is one of the most aggressive cards in the game and once it gets to full power, there are very few that can stand in its way.
2
Starmie ex
The Fastest Water Pokemon
The Starmie ex is one of the best choices to lead a Water deck. While it may not have multiple Moves or even Abilities that can hit the Bench, 90 damage on a Stage one Pokemon for only two Energy gives it plenty of stopping power.
However, the real draw to the card is that it can Retreat for free. This fixes the main drawback of relying on ex Pokemon which can sometimes make it too easy for your opponent to score points by knocking out only one of your Pokemon.
1
Sabrina
The Best Card To Pull In Genetic Apex Charizard
The best card to pull in Genetic Apex Charizard isn’t even an ex Pokemon, it’s Sabrina. This card is an automatic staple because it works with any deck that you want to build. It allows you to push your opponent’s Pokemon back towards the Bench.
This is useful for when you have a Pokemon beating you down, and you know that its next Move will knock out your own Pokemon. It can still for time this way. You can also use it as a way of bringing out a weaker Pokemon from the back that will be more vulnerable to your attacks.
