The Gate Of Faded Glories Champion Location In Dragon Age: The Veilguard
To find the Gate of Faded Glories’ Champion, Entarus The Rekindled, players must head to Elvhenan’s Haven in the northeastern part of Arlathan Forest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. However, players should note that this part of the Forest only unlocks after completing the How To Train A Griffon Quest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. After locating Entarus the Rekindled, use the Respawn Beacon next to the ruin to choose your Companions and adjust Rook’s abilities.
How To Defeat Entarus The Rekindled In Dragon Age: The Veilguard
To defeat Entarus the Rekindled in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, players need to use Companions that have any abilities besides Necrotic. Since the Champion is vulnerable to Fire Companions like Davrin and Taash, they can be a huge help during the battle. Also, changing Rook’s abilities to ones with Fire, Physical, or Electricity attributes can make the fight easier for players, since Entarus has Necrotic resistance.
Players shouldn’t attack Entarus’ Cyst immediately, since the ruin is infested with enemies. Defeat the enemies first, resolve the Cyst infestation problem inside the ruin, then break the Blight Cyst to attack the Champion and claim his Essence.
How To Open The Gate Of Faded Glories In Dragon Age: The Veilguard
To unlock the Gate of Faded Glories in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, use Entarus the Rekindled’s Essence on the roots northeast of Elvhenan’s Haven in Crossroads. Upon descending the western bridge inside, players will find a Statuette. Interacting with the false Statuette will spawn two Blooded Karataarm, an Unstoppable Reaver, and two Warband Taaralock. Defeat them by using Companions with Necrotic abilities, like Lucanis and Emmrich, since the enemies are vulnerable to it.
Afterward, head to the statue on the eastern edge and rotate it to face the statue to its east. Doing so will spawn a bridge between the two statues. However, don’t use it just yet. Instead:
- Go back to the false Statuette’s location.
- Move beyond the northern archway.
- Turn the statue behind the pillar to face the eastern side.
If players descend the rocks at the other end of the pillar, they will find The Trickster Wolf Momento, Ethric Remnants, and a Fen’ Harel Altar in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Collect them all, then go back to the spawned bridge to reach the northeastern floating land. There, players will come across another wave of enemies that are also vulnerable to the Necrotic abilities.
After defeating the enemies, take the following steps:
- Climb the northern boulders.
- Interact with the Evanuris Altar.
- Use the bow to shoot four floating glyphs.
- Collect the collectibles between the broken archways.
- Go to the western edge.
- Rotate the statue to face the western statue.
- Take the northern spawned bridge to reach the final island.
- Bash the southern wooden pillar to create a shortcut that leads to the first island.
Next, players must:
- Take the stairs to the top of the mountain.
- Defeat the lurking enemies.
- Collect the western Treasure chest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
- Grab the Fen’ Harel statue behind the eastern Owl statue.
- Collect the Wolf Statuette.
By completing all these steps, players will acquire all the available collectibles inside the Gate of Faded Glories in Dragon Age: The Veilguard alongside the Piece of the Past Statuette.
