There’s always going to be some sort of demand for materials in Enshrouded, and given how dangerous exploration in this game can be, players will want to make sure that they have healing items at the ready. Consumables made from Wood Acid are decent alternatives to traditional food items and potions, and players should consider stocking up on them in case they run dry on other resources.
Wood Acid is fairly common as far as materials go, but getting it isn’t quite as obvious as some other Enshrouded materials like Nitrate or Shroud Spores. If you’re wondering where you can get Wood Acid in bulk, here’s a quick guide showing you how.

Building a Ranger in Enshrouded can be tricky, but it’s easier if players can get their hands on these bows.
How Do You Get Wood Acid in Enshrouded?
Wood Acid is a crafted material, and you can unlock its recipe after you make Charcoal for the first time. With that said, you’ll first need a Charcoal Kiln, which you can make after you free the Blacksmith in Enshrouded. Luckily, the Blacksmith is the first NPC players can unlock, so getting the stuff needed to make Wood Acid shouldn’t take long.
You’ll need 20 Stone to build a Charcoal Kiln. Once you have enough materials, build the kiln and place it over any suitable spot. Interact with it, then click on the Browse Recipes button on the right side of the screen. It takes 15 Wood Logs and 3 Dirt to craft 10 Wood Acid, so make sure to have a bunch of materials in stock if you’re planning on mass crafting.
It takes seven whole minutes for one batch of Wood Acid to finish crafting. If you want to craft a lot of it, we suggest making another Charcoal Kiln.
The Charcoal Kiln can be built by interacting with the Blacksmith. Select the Crafting option after speaking with him, and once you make a Charcoal Kiln, it’ll be added to your inventory.
What Is Wood Acid For?
There’s a variety of items that require Wood Acid as an ingredient. These are mostly healing or utility items, so you may want to keep a healthy stock of Wood Acid handy just in case.
- Antiseptic
- Flare Arrow
- Heal Channel Spell
- Nitrate
- Purified Slime
- Shroud Survival Flask
- Tin Bars
- White Glowing Substance
Players are going to need Shroud Survival Flasks if they want to explore the shroud-covered areas in Enshrouded for longer without dying. Antiseptics are also required for crafting healing items like Cleaned Bandages and Wound Ointments. These two alone should give players enough reason to keep some Wood Acid around, especially support-oriented mages who want to use Heal Channel and the Eternal Chain Heal spells.
