Here’s how to complete the Snake Tongue Flower Quest in Throne And Liberty!
Although the tasks for completing the Hero of the Catapult quest are relatively straightforward, executing them can be problematic if you can’t figure out the trick behind obtaining the required item. This article will guide you through everything you need to know about completing this side quest in the Raging Wilds Region.
How To Start The Hero Of The Catapult Quest
To start the Hero of The Catapult quest, head to the Golem Control Tower, located northeast of the Raging Wilds waypoint. As you make your way to the control tower, head towards the wizard NPC standing at the foot of the tower next to a catapult.
Make sure to unlock the Raging Wilds waypoint before you decide to complete this quest, as it will not be visible in your Exploration Codex menu unless you have unlocked this region of the map.
Approach the Dispatched Wizard standing at the foot of the Golem Control Tower and speak with them. Upon interacting with the NPC, they will inform you that they want to collect the Magical Bell Flowers that bloom in the Raging Wilds Region, and they need your help in obtaining them.
The Raging Wilds region is teeming with hostile mobs like the Large Stone Golem, Violent Temiteran, and Violent Tentacle Desert Flower. These mobs are especially difficult to defeat if your character level is below the early 40s. Make sure to avoid aggravating them unless you are ready to take large amounts of damage.
Once you accept the wizard’s request, you will have started the Hero of The Catapult side mission.
How To Complete The Hero Of The Catapult Quest
While exploring the barren landscape of the Raging Wilds region, you must have noticed a floating rock in the center of the Golem Field. Coincidentally, the Magical Bell Flowers needed for this quest only bloom on top of that floating rock.
While you can try to glide from the Golem Control Tower to the Rock using your Glide Morph, it is impossible to successfully land there after gliding a large distance with limited stamina. The only way to reach the tower is to operate the catapult placed next to the Dispatched Wizard.
It is not easy to operate the catapult alone as you must perform two different things with just a few seconds of delay. It is recommended to ask your friends or a nearby player for help so they can operate the catapult for you while you position yourself for the launch.
To use the catapult, get on top of the first rocky platform on the right side of the machine using your grappling hook. Once on the platform, spot the interactable item “Lever to operate Catapult” at the edge.
After interacting with the lever, there will be a few seconds of delay between the press and the catapult launch. Use this time to position yourself at the far end of the catapult by jumping directly from the platform onto the machine.
Once the catapult launches you in the air, glide to the floating rock to collect the Magical Bell Flowers and return to the Dispatched Wizard. After you return to the wizard with the bell flowers, the quest will be complete.
