Brawl Stars has launched the new Angels vs Demons Season, packed with lots of content, including fresh angels and demons-themed skins, exciting rewards, new game modes, and much more. As a part of this Brawl Stars season, the standard Starr Drop has been replaced with new Angelic and Demonic Drops, offering a variety of exclusive rewards.
Among the many highlights, you can unlock the new Demon Mortis and Angel Edgar Hypercharge Skins for free through these new drops. In this guide, I will walk you through everything you need to know about the Angelic and Demonic Drops— how to get them for free, what rewards are available, their drop rates, and more. So, let’s get started!
Brawl Stars Angelic and Demonic Drops overview
During this event, you will receive the new Angelic and Demonic Drops, which contain event-themed rewards, instead of the regular Starr Drops for your battle wins. You can get more progression resources, such as Coins and PowerPoints, from these new drops compared to the average Starr Drop.
The type of drop you get depends on whether you are an Angel or a Demon for the day. If you are on the Angel side, you will only receive Angelic Drops, and likewise, if you are on the Demon side, you will get Demonic Drops. Each day since the launch of this season, the Coin of Fate will flip to determine whether you will be Angelic or Demonic.
However, on weekends, you can freely choose which side to align with, and immediately open the corresponding drop of that side. But don’t worry as it doesn’t matter if you want to be an Angel or a Demon as both offer amazing, exclusive rewards so you won’t miss out much. And by following this guide, you can boost your chances of unlocking all the goodies. Plus, you can still obtain regular Starr Drops from sources like the Brawl Pass or the Trophy Road.
Rewards available in the Angelic and Demonic Drops
Although I haven’t yet gotten an exclusive Angelic or Demonic brawler skin from the drops, that shouldn’t be the case for you. I am hoping to get one soon, maybe I will directly get the Demon Mortis or Angel Edgar skin.
Anyways, to open the new drops, you have to simply tap and hold your mobile’s screen until the circle is fully completed to receive your rewards. And remember, if your Angelic and Demonic Drop takes a long while to open, it means that you will receive even better rewards.
You can get a variety of items from the Angelic and Demonic Drops: Coins, Power Points, Gadgets, Star Powers, Hypercharges, XP Doublers, Gems, Credits (only if you have all the Brawlers of a certain rarity), Brawlers, theme-based Skins, Angel and Demon cosmetics like Pins and Sprays, and exclusive Angel and Demon Skins, including the hypercharge Demon Mortis and Angel Edgar Skin.
How to get Angelic and Demonic Drops in Brawl Stars
I am sure you must be curious by now about how to get plenty of Angelic and Demonic Drops in the game, especially with all these tempting rewards that are too hard to miss. So, let’s continue with how and where to get all the Angelic and Demonic Drops.
You can earn three Angelic and Demonic Drops through daily battle wins, participating in weekend events and contests, and from the in-game shop. You can get one Angelic and one Demonic Starr Drop for free from there, and if you have gems saved up, you can purchase more through gems. Plus, if you purchase all the featured drops across 10 steps, you will unlock the exclusive hypercharge skins for free.
1. Daily Starr Drops
But keep in mind that you have to grind a lot this season. For a rough estimate, if you play throughout the season, you can earn around 50 Angelic Drops and 50 Demonic Drops for free, totaling 100 exclusive Starr Drops featuring all the rewards I mentioned before.
This season will run until December 4, 2024, so considering that you have played from the start of this season, you could gather around 84 Exclusive Star Drops just from the 3 Daily Starr Drops you earn for winning battles. Then there are the two weekends where you get 2x Daily Starr Drops, giving you another 18 drops for the 2 weekends.
2. Contest
If you have the right skills and you are competitive, you can also earn them from the Contest that takes place every three days in the game. Every day you will get 5 tickets to participate in the Contest and you can compete against other players in the leaderboard.
Remember that you will earn more Angelic and Demonic Starr Drops if you perform well in the Contest and rank up in the Contest Leaderboard. Also, be sure to use your tickets before the next one starts, as the tickets are only valid for three days.
According to Supercell Games, you could earn up to 180 Exclusive drops, provided you win all your matches. But we all know this isn’t quite possible as you will get bad teammates, and lose a few matches here and there but you can still give your best. By the end of the season, you should have anywhere from 100 to 284 Angelic and Demonic Star Drops for free, without spending any money or Gems.
