At the start of Warzone Season 1, players will have access to the new loadout system introduced in Black Ops 6, including a dedicated melee weapon slot, three perks, and a Wildcard. Global weapon builds from the previous season of Warzone will be brought over, along with any Modern Warfare 2, Modern Warfare 3, and Black Ops 6 weapons and operators that players have acquired thus far. This means that Warzone players will have more than 170 weapons and 150 operators to choose from in their loadouts, including the 40 weapons that were available at launch in Black Ops 6. Since Warzone will be entering its first season in the Black Ops 6 era, player levels and level-associated unlocks will be reset on November 14. After reaching level 55, players may enter their first Prestige level and progress through player levels once more. Some of the unlocks associated with Prestige will only be available to players who own Black Ops 6. Completing Prestige 10 unlocks Prestige Mastery with 1,000 levels and “ultimate rewards,” and players may also continue to progress and unlock mastery camos for Black Ops 6 weapons.
Similarly to Black Ops 6, a number of calling card and optic reticle challenges will be available in Warzone Season 1, and more challenges will be added over time. Rewards earned from challenges are applicable in Black Ops 6 multiplayer and Zombies, thanks to the Warzone’s integration.
