Updated on November 8, 2024: With the launch of the Swap Pack in the November Peg-E event, we’re back to update our guide to sticker packs in Monopoly Go to include them, as well as to add some extra links to help you get the most out of your dice rolls and sticker pack pulls.

How To Get More Sticker Packs

There are plenty of ways to earn free sticker packs in Monopoly Go, which is a good thing, since these sticker packs are how you’ll complete the seasonal sticker albums that change and refresh every few months. At the moment, we’re playing Marvel Go, a tie-in sticker season for Monopoly Go that brings all your favorite heroes into your favorite mobile game. This particular seasons runs until December 5.

With so many stickers to find regardless of which season you’re playing in, it’s a good thing you’ll get sticker packs in so many ways! We’ve got a whole breakdown of how stickers work, but there are plenty of bonus events that offer extra stickers for no extra work. For example, Sticker Boom happens every now and again to offer extra stickers in every pack, so it’s always a good idea to try to wait to get sticker packs until then!

You can get sticker packs in Monopoly Go by:

  • Participating in events, whether they are week-long events (like Peg-E prize drops, Sunset Treasures, or teammate games) or shorter-term events with more milestones (like the ones accessed at the top center of the screen or short but swift right side tournaments).
  • Finishing your daily goals every day.
    • You’ll have three goals each day, and you stand a chance to earn sticker packs for completing them, though it’s never guaranteed.
    • Finishing weekly goals progresses a meter of weekly goal milestones at the bottom of the Win tab. You’ll obtain plenty of sticker packs by finishing these milestones, especially for hitting every milestone in a given week.
  • Collecting your free bonus in the store every eight hours.
    • Though it’s never a guarantee that you’ll get a sticker pack in this bonus (it’s typically extra dice rolls and cash), it’s not impossible to earn free sticker packs this way.
  • There’s also a good chance you’ll earn stickers for free in the Tycoon Club daily pulls, but you’ve also got ample chances there to buy them in the Tycoon Club store with cash or reward points.
  • Spinning the Color Wheel when landing on a Monopoly covered in hotels.
    • Build your boards up to place houses and hotels, and when you land on a Monopoly tile in a Monopoly with three hotels, you’ll have a chance to win stickers on this prize wheel before your hotels are cleared from that color group.
  • You can also buy sticker packs as part of offers for real cash in the Monopoly Go store.
    • There doesn’t appear to be a straightforward sticker pack sale option, but you’ll get plenty from the limited time offers at the top of the store tab.

As you obtain these sticker packs, you don’t have the option to wait – the pack is opened right away once you obtain it. Immediately, you’ll see every sticker inside the pack displayed on your screen, including its name, graphic, and rarity.

Should you open a sticker pack containing the final sticker you needed to complete a sticker album, you’ll receive the rewards right away as well.

Sticker Pack Colors Guide

Info for the rarity of the stickers in a yellow sticker pack in Monopoly Go.

As you play Monopoly Go, you’ll quickly notice that there are different colored sticker packs. The change in colors isn’t just to keep the game visually appealing, though – the color denotes the rarity of the stickers inside the pack, as well as how many stickers are in the pack before you open it.

There are five different colors for the Monopoly Go sticker packs, each offering a different number of stickers and a better chance at getting rare stickers. Green sticker packs are the most common sticker packs with pretty common stickers, often offering repeats, while purple sticker packs are the rarest and offer your best odds at unlocking new stickers in Monopoly Go.

What Does The Color Of A Sticker Pack Mean In Monopoly Go?

Sticker Pack Color

Number of Stickers

Guaranteed Stickers

Green

1

At least one 1-Star sticker

Yellow

2

At least two 1-Star stickers

Pink

2

At least one 3-Star sticker

Blue

3

At least one 4-Star sticker

Purple

5

At least one 5-Star sticker

You may also find gold Monopoly Go stickers in these packs, however slim the odds. Your best bet to earn gold stickers is by opening as many rarer sticker packs as possible and hoping for the best, or trading with a friend. There are whole communities online dedicated to trading stickers in the game, such as on Facebook, Reddit, and Discord.

What Are Swap Packs?

Introduced during the November 2024 Peg-E event, Monopoly Go has added Swap Packs to the list of stickers! These will be hugely helpful for those nearing the end of their albums who are struggling to get the rarer cards they need, since only three, four, and five-star cards appear in Swap Packs.

When you receive a Swap Pack in Monopoly Go, you’ll pull four cards from within. If you like all of them right away, great! But if not, you’ve got three chances to reshuffle cards before receiving the four stickers shown after the third pull. These reshuffles only change one card at a time, meaning you can make a total of three card swaps before receiving the pack.

This is a great way to prevent yourself from getting what players refer to as “gold-locked,” where you only have gold stickers left that can’t be traded outside of Sticker Boom events, and even then, it’s only the cards Scopely tells us we can trade.

Monopoly Go: How To Use The Dice Multiplier

The dice multiplier in Monopoly Go can be a great way to boost your rewards, but it’s important to use it strategically. Here’s how to use it.

What Are The Odds Of Getting New Stickers In Each Sticker Pack?

As mentioned above, the rarity of at least one sticker in each Monopoly Go sticker pack is set before you even open it, with rarity guarantees for each color, but past the one guaranteed sticker, all remaining stickers are left to chance on what they’ll end up being.

The rarity of the remaining stickers in the pack is determined by the color of the sticker pack you’re opening. You have the best odds for opening more common cards, but each sticker pack in Monopoly Go can technically contain stickers of every rarity, even if the odds are next to zero for pulling them. We’ve gotten gold stickers from green sticker packs before, and we’ve also gotten abundances of one-star rarity stickers from purple sticker packs – it truly is up to chance.

In the table below, you’ll find a full breakdown of the odds of opening different stickers in each sticker pack in Monopoly Go. These are the odds of getting a sticker of that rarity as a remaining sticker outside the guarantees listed above, which are already decided.

For example, when opening a purple sticker pack in Monopoly Go, you’re guaranteed to receive one five-star sticker, but the odds for what you can expect to receive for the other five stickers in the pack are listed below.

If you find yourself with a stack of more common stickers, it’s always a good idea to trade with your friends – you scratch their back with one of your extras they don’t have, they’ll do the same for you. You can also cash them in at your sticker vault to exchange extra stickers for hundreds of free dice rolls and additional sticker packs.
