Wednesday, November 13 will be a big day for fans of WWE 2K24, as that’s the day the game’s final DLC pack will be released to the masses. Since WWE 2K24 was released earlier this year, developer Visual Concepts has supported the wrestling game through regular updates and DLC packs. Five DLC packs were promised as part of the Season Pass, with four of those already available.
WWE 2K24‘s first DLC pack was released on May 15, giving fans the chance to play as classic ECW wrestlers as well as returning star CM Punk. The Post Malone & Friends Pack followed on June 26, with the Pat McAfee Show Pack dropping on July 31. DLC Pack 4 was released on September 18 and featured stars like Jade Cargill, Nia Jax, Michelle McCool, Carlito, Kairi Sane, Lyra Valkyria, and Dragon Lee. And now the fifth and final WWE 2K24 DLC pack is right around the corner.

The pack will add Diamond Dallas Page, The Iron Sheik, Mr. Perfect, The Great Muta, and Lex Luger to the roster, along with Superstar Cards for the MyFACTION game mode. Old-school professional wrestling fans will no doubt appreciate the chance to play as Diamond Dallas Page and the other classic stars that make up DLC Pack 5.

One downside to the WCW Pack is that it is missing one of the promotion’s biggest and most iconic stars. Unfortunately for fans of the WWE 2K games, Sting still has a contract with AEW, despite having retired from in-ring competition. This keeps Sting from appearing in games like WWE 2K24, and so that’s why he’s not part of the WCW Pack. Anyone interested in playing as Sting in video games will have to stick to AEW titles moving forward, unless a new deal is reached between the legendary wrestler and WWE at some point down the road.
When WWE 2K24‘s final DLC pack is released, fans will turn their attention to the inevitable WWE 2K25. Assuming WWE 2K25 sticks with the pattern established by the last few entries in the series, the most likely scenario is that the game will be announced around the Royal Rumble in February and then released in March. That’s a pretty tight turnaround for most video games, but it’s become standard for the WWE 2K series.
