Metro Awakening is the latest entry in the popular Metro franchise, which is based on the works of Dmitry Glukhovsky. It is the first entry in the series to be based in VR, which is ideal for the immersive and mysterious atmosphere that Metro is known for. Combining stealth and survival mechanics, players will have to navigate their way through a hostile environment populated with humans, mutants and supernatural entities alike.
Despite the fact that VR games are typically shorter than usual, Metro Awakening still offers players a story of considerable length, though its linearity is more akin to the earlier titles like Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light rather than the more open-world exploration of Metro Exodus. Here’s how much playtime gamers can expect to have.
