Tactical Stance Explained
Tactical Stance is a mode of aiming for close-range combat encounters. When you have Tac-Stance enabled, your character will quickly tilt their gun sideways when you aim down your sights. This is much faster than normal ADS. It’s also more accurate than simply hip-firing a weapon.
Speed and mobility are important in Multiplayer game modes, and the Tac-Stance can give you a leg up. The Tactical Stance can be the difference between life and death when fighting in close quarters. Use it to quickly dispatch enemies before they can even aim.
How to Use Tactical Stance
You need to equip a certain attachment to gain this ability in CoD Black Ops 6. Go to the weapons menu on the multiplayer screen, then edit your custom loadout. Custom loadouts are available for you at Level 4. Find the weapon you want to enable Tac-Stance on and press the Square/X button to customize it in the Gunsmith menu. Go to the laser attachments section and equip the Tactical Laser. Nearly every firearm can use this attachment, but you may need to level up your weapon XP. Most weapons can have the Tactical Laser equipped at around Level 10 or higher. Snipers will unlock the attachment at higher levels above 20.
Once you’ve attached the Tactical Laser you can now use Tac-Stance. Press left on the D-pad to toggle your laser on and off. Turning it on will make sure you tilt the weapon whenever you aim. Be aware that the laser is visible to both friends and foes while it’s turned on. Make sure to toggle it off when fighting at long distances so you don’t give away your location and sacrifice accuracy.
