One of the most important features is Shooms, the main currency in the game. Seeing as they are used for so much, it’s important to know how to get them, and what exactly they can be used on.
How To Earn Shooms
Shooms can be earned in several ways, but are primarily rewarded through time survived and various quests.
For every two minutes you are alive on a creature, you will earn five Shooms, for a total of 150 Shooms an hour. Shooms can also be found floating on the ground during the Volcano Event, giving two each.
The second main way is through region missions, which will automatically show up on the right side of the screen and can be repeated infinitely. Each quest gives four Shooms each.
The Death Reward System rewards players Shooms in exchange for stats they accomplished while that creature was alive, once it has died. Getting 250 and 500 points will give you 25 and 50 Shooms, respectively. Points can be earned by staying alive, visiting different biomes, killing players, surviving natural disasters, and completing missions.
Finally, Shooms can be bought with Robux, the cheapest option being 120 Shooms for 39 Robux, and redeemed through codes. Unfortunately, this is an inconsistent way to earn Shooms, as codes are not always available.
What To Spend Mushrooms On
As the main currency, Shooms can be used to buy a lot, including Gachas, Tikits, items in the rotation store, materials, and trial creatures. In general these items are very expensive and will require a lot of Shooms, and the Gachas only get more expensive the rarer it is.
Additionally, you can use Shooms in the Trade (world/realm?) to buy items, species, and already-created creatures. Keep in mind that, when trading, Shooms are also called ‘mush‘, ‘shrooms‘, and simply ‘m‘.
