CoD: Black Ops 6 Patch Notes Detail New 10v10 Playlists And Another Recon Combat Specialty Nerf

A small update arrived to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on November 8, and the patch notes include several fixes across multiplayer and Zombies, as well as another nerf to the game’s overpowered Recon Combat Specialty bonus. A playlist update also adds larger and more chaotic player counts for multiplayer matches.

Black Ops 6’s Recon Combat Specialty bonus basically gives players wallhacks for a brief time after respawning, highlighting enemy players on the map in red. This was a really overpowered feature at launch, but a recent update nerfed the time down from 2 to 1.5 seconds. Unfortunately, that still wasn’t impactful enough, so now Treyarch has further reduced the highlighted duration down to just 1 second.

Treyarch has resolved issues with XP earn rates. This includes an issue where the match bonus was being improperly scaled across game modes, and an error that caused match bonuses to not always be awarded in Search and Destroy.

Additionally, the update refreshes the multiplayer playlists for Black Ops 6. Stakeout 24/7 is added into the rotation. There’s also a new 10v10 Moshpit playlist, which features a mix of Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Hardpoint on the game’s standard 6v6 maps.

For Zombies, the update patched an exploit that allowed certain field upgrade Augment effects to persist beyond their intended duration, and another that previously allowed players to launch tactical rafts into the air on Terminus.

The full patch notes can be found below, as shared by Activision.
