Fans are eagerly anticipating the return of Bosch: Legacy for its third and final season in March 2025 on Prime Video. Harry Bosch Hates Preston Borders But It’s Possible He Might Have Crossed The Line For Maddie

Harry Bosch was a tough LAPD detective, and while his techniques were controversial, he never crossed that ultimate line. However, his foray into the private sector has been somewhat different. No longer having the backing of the LAPD’s resources forced Bosch to obtain justice by the use of some questionable methods. When Maddie was kidnapped by Kurt Dockweiler, it was clear he’d be willing to break the law to save her. This was also evident in the Carl Rogers case, after he blew up the gas pipeline with the help of Crate and Barrel. He was incensed after Kurt Dockweiler got a very favorable deal during his trial, despite Maddie’s powerful impact statement. However, Bosch was used to justice not always being served in certain cases, but he never took the law into his own hands. But this situation was significantly different, as it involved the daughter he loves more than anything in the world.

Before his appearance in the Bosch: Legacy season 2 finale, the last time fans saw Preston Borders was at the end of Bosch season 5, after he failed in his attempts to get a new trial. Bosch hates Borders for what he did to his poor victim, and the feeling is mutual the other way around. It would take something monumental for Bosch and Borders to even consider working together to kill Kurt Dockweiler. From Borders point of view, why would he help Bosch? There would have to be something in it for him. Money isn’t that valuable to him from behind bars, so what could Bosch offer him to kill Dockweiler? There is an argument that everyone is capable of murder given a particular set of circumstances, and it’s not like Bosch hasn’t killed anyone before in the line of duty. However, this would be crossing a line on a much deeper level than ever before for Bosch. Having said that, Dockweiler was the man who kidnapped Maddie and subjected her to a horrific ordeal. One man’s love for his daughter cannot be underestimated on any level, but surely Bosch wouldn’t stoop this low? If he did, there is definitely more to it.
