Blizzard just revealed a huge drop campaign for its upcoming Warcraft Direct, featuring two new mounts for World of Warcraft, free packs for Hearthstone, and a portrait, Rare core, and Sylvanas Leader for Warcraft Rumble. Players will be able to collect these digital goodies for all three games by tuning in to the Warcraft Direct presentation on Twitch, YouTube, or TikTok – or during any streams for nearly a month afterward.

This year, Blizzard chose not to hold BlizzCon, instead opting to attend other conventions, such as Gamescom and Dreamhack. It is also experimenting with other digital showcases, such as the inaugural Warcraft Direct presentation taking place on November 13 at 10 AM PST, only a couple of days before the franchise’s 30th anniversary.

Some new evidence suggests Blizzard could be secretly working on something huge for Warcraft 3: Reforged for the franchise’s 30th anniversary.

Now, Blizzard has added some special in-game rewards to celebrate the showcase. New drops for World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, and Warcraft Rumble will be available starting with Warcraft Direct, and running through December 11 at 10 AM PST. By watching a few minutes of the official YouTube channels, or streamers in any of these games’ categories on Twitch or TikTok during this period, players can earn the Blackrock Warsaber and Kaldorei War Wolf mounts for World of Warcraft, Hearthstone packs from The Great Dark Beyond and Perils in Paradise card sets, and a Rare core, Sylvanas Leader, and a portrait featuring the iconic Footman vs. Grunt faceoff in Warcraft Rumble.

Warcraft Direct Drops for WoW, Hearthstone, Rumble

  • From November 13 at 10 AM PST through December 11 at 10 AM PST, watch 20 minutes of any World of Warcraft, Warcraft Rumble, or Hearthstone streamer on YouTube or Twitch, or 3 minutes on TikTok, to earn the following rewards:

  • World of Warcraft
    • Blackrock Warsaber mount
    • Kaldorei War Wolf mount
  • Hearthstone
    • Perils in Paradise card pack
    • The Great Dark Beyond card pack
  • Warcraft Rumble
    • Anniversary Player Avatar
    • Sylvanas Leader
    • Rare core

Warcraft fans watching on Twitch or YouTube must connect their Battle.net accounts with their respective streaming service, which can be done via the Account Sharing page for the former, and via the Blizzard app with the latter, after which they will earn the rewards after watching for 20 minutes. For TikTok, players will instead receive a code that can be redeemed after watching on the mobile app for three minutes. These rewards can only be redeemed once per account, so there is no benefit to watching on multiple platforms.

It remains to be seen exactly what is in store for players during the Warcraft Direct. World of Warcraft will probably reveal information about Patch 11.0.7, though it could reveal Patch 11.1, as well as the potential Mists of Pandaria Classic. Hearthstone just launched a new set, but it could give gamers a preview of future expansions or features for next year, and Warcraft Rumble is set to begin Season 10 right around when Warcraft Direct takes place, making it the perfect time to show off a new mini. That said, recent leaks and evidence also suggest Blizzard may announce a remaster of Warcraft 2, and potentially something huge for Warcraft 3: Reforged as well, so fans of the old RTS games won’t want to miss out on the presentation either.

Warcraft

Warcraft is a franchise originally created by Blizzard Entertainment starting with Warcraft: Orcs and Humans in 1994 for PC and Mac. The original trio of titles were real-time strategy games featuring factions like Humans, Orcs, Undead, and Night Elves though the popularity and success of the franchise soon saw it expand into an MMO with World of Warcraft, card battling game Hearthstone, and other media like books, comics, as well as a 2016 film adaptation that was directed by Duncan Jones.
