A lot of studios have collaborated with Insert Coin to bring official merch from their games to their fans. Today is a bigger one than usual for Insert Coin though as it marks the return of a very special PlayStation mascot to its store – Astro Bot. Insert Coin has a whole new range of official Astro Bot merch, and it’s all available now.
Insert Coin’s new Astro Bot collection brings five items to the storefront – two t-shirts, a hoodie, a varsity jacket, and a pair of Astro Bot socks. The range hasn’t just been designed to celebrate the ongoing success of Astro’s first full-length non-VR outing, but also PlayStation’s 30th anniversary. The PS1-grey varsity jacket does that by putting PlayStation’s sacred symbols on one side in their original colors, and Astro’s head is embroidered on the other side.

Astro’s Cameo Bots Now Have Their Own Section On PS Plus
The section includes every game Astro Bot references that’s available to play on PS Plus.
One of the t-shirts and its matching hoodie has some of Astro Bot’s more notable cameo Bots joining the titular hero. Surrounding Astro are the Bot versions of Aloy, Kratos, Jin, Nathan Drake, Ratchet, and Clank. The same design can also be found on the collection’s hoodie, just smaller and on the chest rather than right in the middle like it is on the matching t-shirt’s design.

The other t-shirt is white with an embroidered Astro playing a PS1 on its chest, and a big winking Astro logo on the back. The fifth and final item in Insert Coin’s new Astro range might well be the best one of all – Astro socks. They’re more than just a white pair of socks with Astro’s face on them too. The socks feature some of the animals you encounter throughout the new game. The turtle bot you meet in various levels, the monkey Astro uses to climb and prise things open, and the little fennec fox who opened Astro’s reveal trailer are all on there.
Everything in the new Astro Bot collection will be available at Insert Coin by the time you read this. If that’s still not enough, there’s more official Astro Bot merch still available through the PlayStation Gear store including another t-shirt, a water bottle, and a graffiti hoodie. If perusing and buying from the collections makes you want to play more Astro, another speedrun level dropped yesterday along with two more bots to unlock.
