The First Descendant Devs Respond To Request For “Jiggle Physics”

The First Descendant Devs Respond To Request For "Jiggle Physics"

Key Takeaways

  • Players want jiggle physics in The First Descendant, but developers are hesitant to confirm their implementation.
  • Some players request more revealing skins, while others inquire about body type diversity in the game.
  • Developers plan to release new skins and promise to consider improvements regarding body type diversity.

The First Descendant has a penchant for being a bit risque. The game has multiple revealing skins, appeasing the game’s male fanbase, and just last month, it removed some leather flaps from an outfit so that it could show a little bit more bum.

“I didn’t expect it to be high, but I didn’t expect it to be 57 points either.”

Over on the game’s official Discord, the developers held a Q&A for players to express their opinions and make requests for future content. Of course, at least half of the questions were about cosmetics and how to make them raunchier, with multiple players getting a response from the team about adding jiggle physics.

During the Q&A, one player asked Nexon a two-part question. The first part was wholly innocent, the second part, not so much. They said:

“Thank you for the Q&A session. I see you have plans to add more skins. Are there any plans for Christmas skins? Will you be able to add jiggle physics to the game as well?

In response, Nexon said: “Thank you! We plan to reveal new skins! It’s in preparation, and we’ll share the news with you soon! However, I don’t think I can provide an answer regarding jiggle physics at this time.”

As the Q&A went on, the jiggle physics questions continued, leading the developers to send a second, slightly more cutting response. “Frankly, I don’t think I can provide an answer regarding jiggle physics at this time,” they said.

The jiggle physics questions weren’t the only ones of that nature to be asked, though, with the devs confirming that Hailey will be getting a bikini skin next summer, that they’re not sure if they can add “gender-based animations”, and that they might be making a line of figures, which were punctuated with a peach emoji.

I’m well aware of the feedback about the lack of body type diversity, as it’s something we hear often. While I can’t promise immediate changes, I’m keeping it in mind and will work towards gradual improvements.

However, while smut was generally the order of the day, it wasn’t all bad. One player asked about The First Descendant’s body type diversity, receiving a promising response from the team.

“I’m well aware of the feedback about the lack of body type diversity, as it’s something we hear often. While I can’t promise immediate changes, I’m keeping it in mind and will work towards gradual improvements. For now, Hailey was intentionally designed with body variation from the start, which has been challenging with each new skin release, but we know it’s been well-received. We’re also considering this aspect for upcoming successors. I’ll keep striving to improve in this area.”
