InZOI Delays Early Access Release Date
Despite reports that inZOI was still targeting a 2024 release just last month, the game’s director and producer has now confirmed that the title is being pushed back to March 28, 2025. In a new statement on the game’s official Discord channel (via IGN), Kim noted that the huge turnout for inZOI‘s Canvas feature, which allowed users to upload their creations for others to download during the character studio demo earlier this year, brought the team “immense happiness.” However, the director also says it made the studio “realize the responsibility” it has to provide players with “the most complete experience possible.”
Kim goes on to explain that after the studio reviewed fan feedback and analyzed “a wealth of data” from various playtests, it has decided to release inZOI in early access next year. We apologize that we couldn’t bring you the game sooner, but this decision reflects our commitment to giving inZOI the best possible start,” the game’s director said. While the delay is disappointing, the high expectations from inZOI means fans aren’t surprised that the game’s early access launch won’t be coming this year.
