There are a lot of resources to find in Sengoku Dynasty, and they are not all easy to find. While there are plenty that can be found by just simply exploring the forests and meadows around the villages, players are going to encounter a resource that they have no idea how to obtain on their own. Even worse, the game doesn’t always do a great job of explaining where these resources are, if at all. One such resource is Planks. These will be needed early in the game and players will surely be left scratching their heads as to how to find it.

Sengoky Dynasty aims to let players become a Daimyo, though it’s a little confusing at first.
It would be easy to assume that these resources can be scavenged from the plentiful trees in the area, but the game makes it a little more complicated than that. Luckily, getting Planks isn’t all that difficult once a player knows how to do it; it’s just ill-explained. Once a player knows how to get some Planks in their inventory, they will start rolling in them like crazy. To help get them to that point, this guide is here to help players learn this process as fast as possible.
How To Get Planks
Planks are not resources that players can just find in the wilderness, but they will need to do some scavenging out there to get them.
To get Planks, players need to find logs. These are easy to obtain as players just need to take an axe to the large trees in the forest until they topple over. After this, they just have to hit the trunk with an axe a couple more times until it has broken up into logs.
Now, the player needs to leave the logs on the ground instead of picking them up. Instead, they need to craft an Adze and use it on the logs on the ground. To craft an Adze, players will need:
Players just need to approach the log on the ground with the Adze equipped and begin hitting it. Once they have done this enough times, the log will disappear and a Plank will be added to their inventory. The ratio is an equal 1:1 for Logs to Planks, so players shouldn’t expect to get more than one at a time. However, with all the trees they can find, it won’t take anyone very long to find enough Logs to turn into Planks.
Players can then use these Plans to build more structures, furthering their Dynasty Level.
