This means that trainers will have most of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays to group up and take on the legendary dragon of the Hoenn region. The Tera raid battle against Shiny Rayquaza will take place alongside a Mythical Pokemon distribution event that features Zarude, Keldeo, and Deoxys, which is scheduled to run in Japan from November 20, 2024, to April 30, 2025. Although the Shiny Rayquaza Tera raid will be a global event in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, it is currently unknown how the Mythical Pokemon distributions will be handled outside Japan.
