The anime adaptation of I Have a Crush at Work was announced in July 2024. Additionally, it was confirmed that Blade would be producing the anime. While the studio has only done a few independent anime projects, it has collaborated on multiple titles, including Iwa-Kakeru! -Sport Climbing Girls, Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero, and Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!.

Naoko Takeichi is directing the anime. She has worked on JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Hunter x Hunter, and Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?. Masahiro Yokotani is in charge of the scripts. He has been involved in Bakumatsu, World Trigger, Black Butler, etcetera. Lastly, Mina Ōsawa is responsible for the character designs.
