With the Bundles of Bravery drop, players now have a new biome in Minecraft: the Pale Garden. This mysterious biome is a variant of the Dark Forest and houses many different blocks and creatures, including a new mob called The Creaking.
Fighting The Creaking is a bit tricky because it doesn’t take damage like other enemies in Minecraft. To defeat it, you’ll actually need to destroy a block called the Creaking Heart. Luckily, you can easily find Creaking Hearts in the Pale Garden. This guide will walk you through how to get — and how to use — the Creaking Heart in Minecraft.

With the Pale Garden and the Creaking, Minecraft is also including Resin as a new block and material. Here’s what to know about this orange stuff.
What Does The Creaking Heart Do In Minecraft
The Creaking Heart’s main role in Minecraft is to spawn the Creaking mob at night or when there’s a thunderstorm. In simple words, you can call it the brain behind the Creaking.
To stop the Creaking, you’ll have to break its Creaking Heart first.
Since the Creaking Heart spawns the Creaking mob at night, it also makes them disappear during the daytime. And yes, if a Creaking wanders too far from its heart, it’ll despawn, and the heart will spawn a new Creaking nearby.
How To Find The Creaking Heart In Minecraft
To find the Creaking Heart block, fans will need to head over to the Pale Garden biome. You can get to the Pale Garden in several ways, but the most convenient method is to use the Locate Command.
Once there, find white Pale Oak Trees and look for a glowing orange spot on one of them; that’s the Creaking Heart you’re looking for. Just watch out, though, because the Creaking mob might be lurking nearby and could attack if you are not watching it. And yes, make sure to enchant your tool with the Silk Touch enchantment.

, so positioning is critical to keep it in one place.
For those who don’t know, the Silk Touch is a Minecraft enchantment that makes blocks drop themselves instead of their usual items. If you don’t use the Silk Touch enchantment, the Creaking Heart won’t drop anything when you try to harvest it. So, make sure your tool has Silk Touch before you go looking for the Creaking Heart. Once found, break it with your enchanted tool and collect it. This will also eliminate the connected Creaking.
How To Use A Creaking Heart In Minecraft
Once Minecraft players have a Creaking Heart, they can reactivate it by placing Pale Oak Logs around it. When it starts glowing orange, that means it’s active, and it will start spawning Creaking mobs nearby.
