In The Heart Of The Titan, Rook gets to head to the Deep Roads with Harding, which is a fun change of pace from other companion quests that stick within the main maps. Harding’s ancient powers are prime to awaken in this action-packed quest featuring an epic final battle.

How To Find The Lost Dwarves

Your quest begins in Isana Negat in Anderfell, where you’re asked to help Harding find the missing dwarves, despite the obvious trap that awaits you.

Bring Emmrich or Davrin on this mission, with Emmrich being the preferred option, since he can help you destroy the final boss of this area in no time.

Once you’ve selected your companion to join the journey with Harding, follow her to your marker and interact with her to keep moving.

Further along the path, you’ll encounter the Mine Entrance, where you’ll find a pair of resonance stones that Harding can move, leading to the Descent.

Fight off the Undead Warriors (weak to Necrotic, resist Cold) in the Deep Grotto, then keep going until you reach a glowing red rock in the Flooded Chamber.

Free the captive dwarf from this Lyrium rock and find out more information before you follow your marker out of the Lyrium Cavern and into the Ancient Mining Operation.

Knock the ladder down and follow the path on the right along the wall and across the bridge. Clear out Shades from this next room and free another dwarf trapped in red stone.

Clear the path of the next resonance stone, then continue across the tracks deeper into the cave to the Old Shafts, where you’ll fight more Shades and demons.

Use Harding’s powers to raise the resonance stone and climb up to keep following the path and free a third dwarf from the red stone.

Keep going until you find one more resonance stone you can move, which reveals another stone that moves on its own.

Drop into The Cavity where you’ll fight a Bursting Rage Demon (weak to Cold, resists Fire), then free one last person from their Lyrium prison: Stalgard.

With Stalgard’s thanks, Harding is ready to face what’s ahead, so pass through the Lyrium Seam and into The Heart.

How To Defeat The Wrath Of The Stone

Rook sees the Wrath Of The Stone Weakness in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

Dodge the falling rocks as you enter, then defeat the minor group of enemies who spawn here, which will unleash the boss’s fury on you.

The Wrath Of The Stone is a Fire Imbued enemy who is weak to Necrotic damage and resists Electricity, making it a prime target for Emmrich’s array of magical Necrotic attacks.

You won’t be able to use Harding here, so it will just be you and your other companion.

Be careful to avoid the giant’s ground attacks, as they can stun and debilitate you with multiple hits.

Once you defeat the Wrath Of The Stone, you must choose how Harding deals with her anger – using compassion, or by embracing it.

This choice will affect the upgraded skills she receives at the end.

What Rewards Do You Get From Finishing The Heart Of The Titan?

One last conversation transpires, then you’re finished with The Heart Of The Titan, bestowing the following rewards:

  • Increased bonds with your companions
  • The Inquisition Spotter upgraded armor for Harding
  • New skills for Harding (Compassion):
    • Inquisition Spotter
    • Heart Of The Titan

These improvements will serve Harding well, with her armor making all detonations more likely to disrupt enemies and applying the chance of disruption to all enemies near a detonation.

Enjoy the potent combos that this armor enables.
