Art Collector
Get all the art gallery pictures.
Throughout the game, you’ll notice plenty of ostentatious art, so be sure to investigate and collect them to complete Sonny’s collection (and your achievement).
Call Center
Call all the phone numbers in the game.
While you’ll need to make a few calls throughout the story, there are a handful of phone numbers you’ll need to investigate thoroughly to find. We do get a separate phone book this time around, thank the Wild Ones!
Dead Eye Joe
Score at least 10,000 points at the shooting range.
At the Clawville Police Department, you can head onto the shooting range for some target practice. 10,000 is a big ask, so hopefully you’ve gotten some training in toward becoming a sharpshooter as you dig into the story. The first time you’re able to do this is when you meet Monica down there, and the shooting range functions similar to the first game, but you’ve got way more weapons to choose from.
Hardboiled Legend
Complete all the questionings with five-star results.
To trigger this achievement, you need to get every single interrogation sequence completed to 100 percent. The game lets you try again if you’re unhappy with the results, so redo the conversations if need be before moving on – you can’t go back later. Consider the weight of your Good, Bad, and Neutral Cop responses when trying to perfect an interrogation, and base your replies on the other character’s attitude.
Marty’s Collection
Find all 12 of the pinup calendar pictures.
Throughout the game, you’ll find a variety of calendar pages around Clawville, but they won’t be marked with your search tool. There are 12 of them scattered throughout the game, with some being restricted to limited locations, so be sure to look around thoroughly before you leave someplace! These can be easy to miss.
Monica Would Be Proud
Get all codex entries.
As you meet new people and travel to new places, you’ll log everything there is to know about them in your Codex. This achievement asks you to fill out everything: every bit of info about every character, every location, all the details about all the things you’re doing in the game. Plenty of these are tied to visiting limited locations while they’re unlocked, so be diligent about talking to everyone about everything before moving on and closing these locations off.
“Nice Beaver!”
Get the minimum points on a questioning.
While interrogating someone throughout the game, you’ll need to purposely choose the worst answer for every reply you’re able to give. Consider who the characters are when choosing which answers to give, and try again if needed – it’s not likely you’ll get this trophy naturally, unless you’re not exactly a great detective! If you’re trying to do poorly, the best bet is choosing the exact opposite kind of answer that Sonny hints this character may respoind best to.
Nice Work, Partner!
Get the maximum points on a questioning.
In stark contrast to the previous achievement, you’ll need to instead earn the most points on every question you ask during an interrogation at some point during the game, picking the perfect answer each time. This time, heed Sonny’s warnings and choose the best replies.
Sharpshooter
Score at least 5,000 points at the shooting range.
Again, at the Clawville Police Department, head onto the shooting range for some target practice, and log a score of 5,000 on the scoreboard. Watch for animals who aren’t targets – they cost you points and time!
Sherlock Combs
Finish the game with zero failed questionings.
You don’t need to do all of them perfect, but you need to at least pass every interrogation sequence in the game the first time you do it to trigger this achievement. Consider who the character is that you’re talking to – Sonny always tells you a bit about their current attitude toward him before you begin talking, so keep this in mind when choosing his replies.
Talkative Breed
Talk with all the characters in the game.
Have at least one conversation with every character in the game to trigger this trophy. Some of them are tricky to find, but anyone working on their Codex will likely trigger this one naturally. Just be sure to chat up every animal or insect you see at least once, and use the game’s highlight function to make sure you’ve talked to every character you can before leaving a location.
RPGamer
Finish all the goals in the game.
In the pages of your journal, you’ll find plenty of different goals Sonny has throughout the whole of the game, ranging from whole story arcs to smaller, optional tasks. This achievement asks you to finish every task as thoroughly as possible, seeing and doing everything there is to do in Chicken Police: Into the Hive!
