In late June 2024, Herschel Beahm IV, known online as Dr Disrespect, admitted to sending “inappropriate” messages to a minor in 2017. The scandal prompted him to step away from streaming and lose various sponsorships. On September 6, after a two-month-long hiatus that Beahm referred to as “vacation,” the streamer returned to YouTube. Although Dr Disrespect remains demonetized on YouTube, his comeback to the platform appears to have been welcomed by viewers, as a new chart has revealed.
