Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies Player Blows 147-Round Run
A long-time Call of Duty content creator accidentally ended their latest high round attempt in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s new Zombies mode.
At the beginning of Black Ops 6 Season 1, players will be able to obtain the new Krig C Assault Rifle and Saug SMG as Battle Pass Page 3 HVT Tier rewards, along with the new Goliath and Sevati “Sev” Dumas operators at the start of the season. According to Treyarch’s blog post, the Krig C offers average handling with high damage output and predictable recoil, making it a powerful and consistent primary weapon once more attachments are applied. On the other hand, the new Saug SMG offers great mobility and handling, along with a high fire rate. One of the downsides of the Saug SMG is its high recoil, but the recoil may be mitigated by applying attachments to improve stability and accuracy. Players may try out these new weapons while testing out operators Goliath and Sev, which are obtained by upgrading to BlackCell and buying the Season 1 Battle Pass respectively.
Treyarch Reveals New Weapons and Operators Coming in Black Ops 6 Season 1
- Launch:
- Krig C assault rifle (Battle Pass)
- Saug SMG (Battle Pass)
- Goliath operator (BlackCell)
- Sevati “Sev” Dumas operator (Battle Pass)
- In-season:
- Power Drill melee weapon (event reward)
- Cleaver melee weapon (event reward)
- Sirin 9mm special secondary weapon (event reward)
- The Replacer operator (store bundle)
- Competitor CDL Home and Away operators (store bundle)
- Mid-season:
- Maelstrom shotgun (event reward)
- AMR Mod 4 sniper rifle (event reward)
Five more weapons will be introduced as event rewards during the course of the season, including the two new Power Drill and Cleaver melee weapons. Along with the new melee weapons, Black Ops 6 players may earn the Maelstrom shotgun, AMR Mod 4 sniper rifle, and Sirin 9mm secondary weapon from in-game events in Season 1. Although the Maelstrom lacks power compared to other shotguns in its class, its rapid-fire full-auto capabilities make it a devastating option at close range. The AMR Mod 4 is the most powerful semi-auto sniper rifle in its class, with the ability to land one-shot kills across the upper body of opponents. However, the AMR Mod 4 is slow to aim and has high recoil.
The Maelstrom and AMR Mod 4 will be available once the mid-season update goes live, while the Sirin 9mm is an in-season event reward categorized in the game’s new “special” secondary weapon class. The Sirin 9mm is unlike any of the other secondary weapons in Black Ops 6 currently, as it’s a foldable weapon with SMG characteristics, such as a steady full-auto fire rate.
The Replacer and Competitor CDL Home and Away operators will be available in store bundles sometime after the season begins, according to the Black Ops 6 Season 1 roadmap. Treyarch did not share specific release dates on most of the new weapons and operators, but the developers will likely reveal more details and dedicated patch notes once the new content is ready.
