When is the next EFT wipe?

The next Escape from Tarkov wipe is expected to take place at the end of the year, most likely in the last two weeks of December. The developer has previously stated there will be two server wipes in 2024.

This information comes from an interview between YouTuber Pestily and the COO of Battlestate Games, Nikita Buyanov. Buyanov confirmed a second server wipe would take place at the end of the year.

The most recent Escape from Tarkov wipe took place on August 20, 2024. The server wipe arrived with several updates, so check our guide to the latest EFT patch notes. It’s worth noting that the typical cadence for an EFT wipe is usually every five months.
