Hollow Special Operations Section 6, or better known as Section 6, is one of the available factions in Zenless Zone Zero. The group is said to be solely established by its leader, Miyabi. Currently, the second-in-command for this special armed force is Deputy Chief Yanagi. Players might remember the Section 6 group when they enter the Hollow Zero game mode for the first time. The game shows Miyabi, Yanagi, Harumasa, and Soukaku as they try and hunt Nineveh in ZZZ. In the Virtual Revenge quest, these four will be the stars of the mission, and for the most part, Proxies will walk around with Yanagi.
However, while playing the Virtual Revenge quest, PC players may come across a glitch that causes them to be unable to proceed with the story. Thankfully, there’s one easy method to bypass this Zenless Zone Zero Virtual Revenge quest bug.
How To Fix Virtual Revenge Quest Bug In ZZZ – Zenless Zone Zero
To fix the Zenless Zone Zero bug where players can’t start the VR Device in HIA with Yanagi in the Virtual Revenge quest, there’s currently only one known fix: switch to a non-PC device to do the next conversation. It appears that the ZZZ bug only affects PC players, so Proxies with mobile devices can simply open their phones and interact with the bugged VR Device.
Doing so will trigger a conversation between Yanagi, Soukaku, Miyabi, and Harumasa. Players will watch one of the Section 6 members turning into enh-na Bangboo, and the team must figure out how to escape the virtual reality. After the dialogue ends, players now need to try and interact with the VR Device again. You can safely switch back to PC after this conversation as only the previous part has the softlock bug.
To resume the Virtual Revenge quest after quitting the special mission, PC players can press E and then find the Virtual Revenge quest in their Schedule. After you locate the mission, press Continue on the bottom-left to re-enter the quest. This will take you back to controlling Yanagi in Zenless Zone Zero.
When Does Virtual Revenge Quest Bug Start In ZZZ – Zenless Zone Zero
The Zenless Zone Zero bug in the Virtual Revenge quest starts when players return to the HIA building after figuring out that they’re not yet back in the real world. PC players who try interacting with the VR Device will find that their button is not functioning, and they can’t talk to anyone either. This ZZZ bug can’t be solved by using a controller, quitting the quest, quitting the game, relogging, or even verifying resources. If Proxies choose to pause the story, then their entire game will glitch, even outside the quest when they’re controlling Wise or Belle.
