Creating and running an operational village in Sengoku Dynasty is not the only goal for players to tackle. While that may compose a majority of what their team in the game will be focused on, there is so much more progress to be made. This includes the game’s Dynasty System, which sees players put work in to become a powerful force whose power can extend across the entire game’s map.
It plays very much hand-in-hand with the mechanics of running a village in the game, as the player aims to truly set up the future of their family for prosperity. This is done through a variety of means and will ultimately help the player become more than just the leader of a town or Daimyo, but also help them become a legend.

Dynasty System, Explained
The Dynasty System is the overarching goal of every player’s time in the game. It represents everything that a player does and shows the progress of their story. The game will immediately tell the player to begin building a village of their own by constructing buildings, recruiting citizens, and completing projects and quests. This is how they can start getting a good foothold on building up their Dynasty.
Bringing in more people to live in a village, completing construction projects, and helping the NPCs complete the quests they have will all give players Dynasty XP. This goes to their Dynasty Level. As this level increases, the player will get access to more Perks and upgrades that can help make their time easier.
It is this level that will be the main focus of building that dynasty and operates pretty much as the level of the character.
In terms of how to progress to this level, the main component will be the aforementioned activities: quests, building, and managing the citizens of the villages that a player has. However, the Daimyo System will also play a part.
This system asks players to liberate various regions of the map by defeating enemies and their leaders. Doing so will increase their standing among the NPCs they encounter and give them access to unique resources that can only be found in those respective regions. Players can then use those resources to further develop their villages and build bigger and better structures.
People will be able to track the progress of their Dynasty at any time by going to the Dynasty tab in their menu. Here, they can see what Dynasty Level they are at, who is living in their villages, how many villages they have, and set priorities for the villages to work on. They can even set where different citizens will stay and sleep, as well as dictate what their jobs will be. Most importantly, it will show players how happy their citizens are in their village.
This is shown by an emoji face of sorts that will either be happy, middling, or sad. Neglecting the needs of the villagers can result in lackluster production, which can have a negative effect on the player’s dynasty.
