Red Dead Redemption‘s map is split into three major areas that aren’t accessible from early on in the game. The second largest of the three areas is a Mexican territory by the name of Nuevo Paraíso, which is located south of the map. If players try to access the area before progressing to a certain point in the story, they’ll find broken bridges leading up to Mexico.
