From providing food and drinks to entertaining the masses in your park, there’s a bit of trial and error. Here’s everything you need to know about the guests that will enter your park so you can give them a great day of fun, excitement, and great food.
What Are Guests’ Needs?
Every guest that walks into your park is a unique individual with their own preferences, budget, and personality. Some guests will love extreme coasters and spicy food while others will prefer low-key rides and sweet snacks.
Making sure you meet all of their needs is tricky, but it can be done. It takes patience, and you can monitor guests as a whole or individually to see what needs to be done to meet their needs.
Ride Preferences
Ride preferences dictate what rating limits guests are willing to try. You can see an individual guest’s preferences by clicking on them and selecting the Group Tolerances tab.
Here, you’ll see the fear tolerance and nausea tolerance bars, along with the amount of time they’re willing to wait in a queue for a ride.
If you’re worried about a specific ride, you can check the feedback for it individually.
In this menu, you can also see what the ride height, speed, and G-force limits are for the specific guest. This gives you a better idea of what to build for your next coaster, ensuring that they give it a shot before leaving the park for the day.
Queue Tolerance
As your park grows, repeat visitors can become impatient with long waits. To ensure they get on the rides they want, you’ll either need to build duplicates to cut down on wait times or introduce premier passes so they can skip the line.
Food Preferences
In addition to preferences, some guests have very real dietary restrictions. They won’t be able to eat just any food or drink in the park. Dietary restrictions include:
- Fruit
- Rice
- Egg
- Nuts
- Spice
- Artificial Ingredients
- Fish
- Shellfish
- Legumes
- Plants
- Meat
- Caffeine
- Sugar
- Gluten
- Dairy
Every shop in Planet Coaster 2 has their ingredients listed, so it’s important to check and make sure that every guest has at least one option for food and drink.
How To Make Guests Happy
In the park management menu, you can see what all guests think of your park. Their overall happiness is broken down into eight categories, each of which can be improved to help raise the reputation of your park.
Below are the categories and how to make your guests happier in each:
