How To Get Rocket League Cars In Fortnite

Rocket League and Fortnite are two widely different experiences. While most players go to Fortnite for its battle royale mode, along with various other modes like Rocket Racing and the popular LEGO Fortnite, those looking to play soccer with cars may dive into Rocket League. As different as these games are, they share a few things in common — one of which is transferable cosmetics.

Rocket League features a wide range of cosmetics that can also be acquired in Fortnite, allowing players to use their favorite vehicle in both games without additional cost. Transferable vehicles are an excellent addition for players enjoying both games, but how exactly do players transfer their cars from Rocket League to Fortnite?

How To Transfer Cars From Rocket League To Fortnite

Eligible vehicles available in Rocket League will automatically transfer over to Fortnite if players are using the same Epic Account for both games.

On PC, both Rocket League and Fortnite will be logged into the same account by default, if both games are launched through the Epic Games Store. On consoles, the process is similar; players just need to be logged into the same account they use on either Xbox or PlayStation to make Rocket League cars available in their Fortnite locker.

If players find themselves using separate devices for each game, such as Rocket League on Xbox and Fortnite on PlayStation, they will need to ensure that their separate console accounts are linked to the same Epic Games Account. To do this, players should follow these steps:

  • Head to the Epic Games website and sign in. If you’re a console player, sign in via your respective console platform.
  • Go to the Apps and Accounts tab.
  • Under Accounts, press Connect on the accounts you would like to sync. This will require you to sign in to each account.

What Items Will Transfer To Fortnite?

Once both games are linked to the same Epic Account, eligible cars that players already have in their Rocket League garage will be available in their Fortnite locker. For players looking to acquire more cars in either Rocket League and Fortnite — whether through the Rocket League Shop or via challenges and limited-time events — look for a message displayed at the top left of the screen, indicating that the item will also be available in Fortnite.

There is a wide range of eligible items that will transfer over, with Epic Games continuously adding more transferable items between the two games. Cars that are currently transferable include the Cyclone, Jager 619, Diestro, and many more. Eligible rewards in Fortnite will also transfer to Rocket League in the same way, with one such item being the Fast & Furious Nissan Skyline.
