How To Complete Missing Girl In Slitterhead

Slitterhead has many systems and mechanics at play, all centering around its Rarities and the ability to Possess humans, allowing you to access new areas or discover secrets. The game’s third mission will have you utilize all these tools, getting you well-adjusted to them for future encounters.

Though it is a relatively straightforward mission, there are some aspects of Missing Girl that can be a bit challenging to deal with, especially if you’re still not used to the systems at play. Once you get the hang of everything, however, you will be blazing through most of the game’s challenges!

Starting Missing Girl In Slitterhead

Missing Girl is the third mission in Slitterhead and has you play as Julee, your only Rarity at the moment. You must find a way into the Moonflower Nightclub, which can prove tricky if you’re unsure where to go, as you cannot just stroll in through the front door.

However, there is another way to get inside the Nightclub; it will just take some finagling and strategy, which is what makes the ability to possess innocent bystanders so useful in the first place. Well, that and the ability to obliterate Slitterheads.

Find A Way Into The Nightclub

Once you gain control of Julee, head to the left of the Moonflower Nightclub to find a parking lot with a lone guard working it. Possess the guard and begin climbing up to the balcony, then continue climbing up to where the large tank is, on the roof of the building.

Now, look up to the right to see a Crane Operator standing behind a fence on a towering building. Possess him and make your way over to the Crane and activate it, lowering a steel beam near the Nightclub. Once this is lowered, possess the guard again and use Blood Jump to reach the steel beam.

From here, look up to the right again to find yet another Crane Operator atop a highrise, possess them, and have them activate their Crane, lowering another steel beam. Possess the guard once more, use Blood Jump to reach the new steel beam, then use Blood Jump once more to reach the upper balcony of the Moonflower Nightclub!

Investigate Interior

Congrats, you’re finally inside the Moonflower Nightclub; now it’s time to begin investigating the inside of it. However, that is easier said than done, as you must stealthily make your way through it without being detected, which can be a bit frustrating.

But the good news is that it isn’t too long or all that complex, so you should be able to navigate through the Nightclub without getting detected once you know where to go!

Sneaking Through The Nightclub

Here is where the fun begins in this mission, as you now must sneak your way through the Nightclub without being caught, which can be a bit tricky. So, if you’re not a fan of stealth missions, this one might be rough for you. Nonetheless, make your way down the stairs to find the first guard.

Wait for him to turn around and begin walking down the hallway, then make a break for the room on the right. Once here, wait behind the dolly with large crates on it until you see the previous guard turn around and begin heading back toward where you entered. As soon as he passes the door, make a break for the next area.

As soon as you enter the next room, there will be a lone guard here and a large black box. Hide behind the box, wait for the guard to turn around, head to the right, and take another sharp right to find a counter. Walk up to the counter, possess the employee inside, and throw the switch to open the door in the back left of the room.

Sneak over to the door you just unlocked, open it, and head into the bar area. Once here, make your way out from behind the bar to find several pillars to the left and a lone guard near them. Wait for him to walk down toward you and turn around, then make a break behind the pillars as he’s walking away.

Remain behind the pillar until he begins making his way back toward you, let him pass you, then quickly head into the room directly in front of you to find a drunk man in the VIP Room. Possess him and then head toward the exit, allowing you to leave the bar and trigger a cutscene!

Follow Anita’s Trail

After the cutscene ends, you will have to follow Anita’s trail, which will be easy enough, as you will see her ghostly apparition leading you through the markets on the main street and through the back alleys. You will eventually reach a dead end that’s blocked off by dumpsters and boxes. Use Possession to jump to a person on the other side of it.

Continue following the apparition through the back alleys until it switches to her aura, which means you’re close. Keep moving in the direction of Anita’s aura to eventually find her in an empty lot getting brutally attacked by a Slitterhead. Approach her to trigger a cutscene and an encounter.

Defeat Blacktip Mantidfly Slitterhead

With the Blacktip Mantidfly Slitterhead still raring to go, you must defeat it, which isn’t nearly as difficult as it looks. While Julee won’t be there at first, she will spawn in eventually, so use this time to lob Blood Poppers at the Slitterhead and constantly bounce between civilians.

Don’t forget to parry and use heavy attacks (Hold) L2/LT and press R2/RT, as this will allow you to stagger the Slitterhead after a while. Julee will be the game changer in this encounter, so be patient and utilize what you have at your disposal until she appears.

Whenever Julee arrives, switch to her and begin using her Blood Ripper and Sonic Claws Skills, resorting to her Revive All Skill only when her health gets critically low. You should be able to finish off this Slitterhead with ease after she shows up, as you’ve dealt with something very similar in the previous missions!

Missing Girl Rewards

Rewards for completing the Missing Girl mission for the first time in Slitterhead.

Completing Missing Girl for the first time will put a decent Seven Skill Tokens in your pocket, allowing you to toss them into whatever Skill you see fit, whether that be Julee’s Blood Weapon, Active Skills, or even her Passive Skills. Pretty much anything will be good to upgrade, but we will nudge you to level her Active Skills first.

And, as always, please remember to exhaust all ‘Talk’ options with Julee and Night Owl upon completing this mission, as that is how you will continue receiving new missions and can progress the main storyline. This will also occasionally reveal hints and secrets, so always listen to all that’s available when clearing a mission!
